"Good selection of food and every dish we ordered was well cooked, very tasty and reasonably priced, especially the Nepalese choices. But the service was extremely slow, even though the restaurant was not full. We waited an hour and a half from finishing our starters to receiving the main course, as did several other tables, which is just unacceptable. They need to get more staff, otherwise people won't go back. a real shame as the quality of the food is very good."

Lovely meal. I had the Sunday lunch and it was cooked well. The beef was nice thick slices unlike some other pub Sunday lunches I have had elsewhere.

Great food, awsome Nepalese curry for me mixed with other family friendly food for the kids. Nice to see the garden bar, bbq and kids play area up and running again.

menu is very limited, flavours are not great on food that we had but good value for money and if you just want somebody else to cook a meal for you then worth popping in. No real ambience but has real potential.

another fantastic meal here tonight, 9 of us show up, the place is busy, the personal is charming, but again we all order something else, eat immediately arrived and was fabulous. can not recommend very enough, love it.

last week I held a cupcake masterclass at the jolly farmers. it is a hidden gem in hurst with Fab service and delicious, fresh eating away! the garden is also huge! all my ladies enjoyed their class and the eating was perfect. many thanks to nikesh and team, looking forward to more cupcake masterclasses with them.

we had a great evening last night. always so welcoming to wish, cannot do enough for them. child-friendly with a large garden. the fantastic eating is well presented, decent portion size, reasonable price. you didn't rush. I can't wait to return. beautiful family pub through a beautiful family. other pubs should learn from the jf.
