Kalifornia Kitchen - Speisekarte

Stopped here for a light lunch before heading to a matinee performance. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was lovely.

It is a nice place to have breakfast, however I did find the service to be poor and slow and they did get our order wrong twice. There are other places nearby that I found much better.

Fantastic alternative to Italian Bear (where staff were so rude). Staff at Gail's were so pleasant and helpful. Cakes all looked amazing and lots of choice. Really enjoyed our cakes and hot drinks Speisekarte ansehen

Bright airy modern cafe with lots of high quality pastries, sandwiches etc. Great coffee. I wasnt really hungry so just had a tiny few centimetres bun with wonderful squashed avocado with whole chickpeas.

Very nice place, the atmosphere, the interior, the food. Classy experience but affordable. In the center of London. I didn't like that the burger resembled the taste of meat, to be honest, but I understand some might like that. Though next time I will try something else. The dessert was amazingly good.

Absolute disgrace! I recently visited a Gail's bakery in Willesden and attempted to buy a Chicken sandwich, spinach pastry, sultana scone and gave them a £20 note. I was told I couldn't pay with cash and either had to pay with a card or would not be able to take the items. Gail's cash is legal tender!! This is a disgrace!! Speisekarte ansehen

Gails has always been a little on the higher porice point, but generally enjoyed their product, however, this particular Gails's is the pits. It is the worst service in the chain, the slowest possible service and the coffee is always luke warm. I have tried this branch a number of times as i work locally but will not under any circumstances return, in fact the Building centre around the corner outweighs this by a mile.

We come to visit London, and popped in to the in one of the Gail’s Bakery at Bloomsbury. The staff were absolutely amazing! What a great team ! We were having our favourite sausage roll and tea but manager she was kind enough to offer us Gail’s new product to try which was a date &coconut banks bun . Absolutely heavenly delicious! Especially with a great , warm welcome . The whole visit was great , clean shop , kind staff. Definitely we will be back!

The bun I got was delicious if a little pricey . The coffee was also enjoyable and had no complaints with the standard of the produce. Unfortunately the same could not be said for the service. The shop was not particularly busy despite it busy a Saturday afternoon around 60% full). Despite this the station where you add sugar/lids etc was piled up with trays, empty cups, plates etc so impossible to rest your drink down. The barista was abrupt with very little communication. He had not steamed enough milk to fill my cup but chose to serve it to me anyway!! Overall would go again but think the general management of the store and customer service could improve.
