"Went to this restaurant based on the reviews of Tripadvisor. We booked in advance as the other reviews had pointed out that the restaurant is quite small. The sushi and sashimi were good. Sadly the co-ordination of the main course was appalling. Our hot main courses had gone cold by the time our rice had arrived. Multiple attempts to alert this to the staff were ignored. The worst bit was that they had charged us twice for desserts when desserts were included with the set menu price. They were taking advantage of our large party and decided to sneak this in.We reported this to the owner/manager who immediately produced a second "correct" bill. We all were amazed how this could be, unless she had already prepared 2 bills in case they were caught out. Finally, the people here are chinese, not japanese."

I struggle to understand the high ratings given to this place. Service is good but the food is very average people.

Amazing, delicious, melt-in-your-mouth sushi at great prices. Very good service. Place is tiny and gets packed, so do book. Really worth the trip.

My daughter and I ate here last week and we thought the food was excellent! I ordered our normal amount and it was way too much, good value!! From the outside it doesnt look that inviting but once you taste the food, you will want to come back!

One of my favourite sushi restaurants in Lyon. I have never dined in, but regularly order online. The "Saumon roll aux perles noires" is always a must, I've never had anything like it at other Sushi Places. Their "California crevette panée" is also quite good too.

Looks can be deceptive. From the outside this restaurant looks like nothing. Sit down and it's nothing special but the menu is good and the sushi is fresh and tasty. I suspect some of the cooked dishes are prepared from frozen, but so what. I especially liked the Kiren Japanese Beer.

We went there with another couple for dinner on Saturday night, the place is really small and even if was full wasn't loud at all.You can choose between hot and cold (sushi) plate with a lot of combination on the menu, there is not a lot of variations on the sushi menu but the ones we tried were really well done and tasty.I think the only bad side of the night was that a lot of delivery were requested so we waited a little between orders.Anyway I really enjoy the place and I can say is a strong option for a really nice sushi experience.

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there. We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious. For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable. One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
