If you like fish curry this place is amazing, they do other types too but seafood is their strength. The only weakness is the service can be a little slow or difficult to interact with, frustrating when you want another drink and weren't offered one when the main courses were delivered. The service and atmosphere at this restaurant were both fantastic. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure that our dining experience was enjoyable. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a great dining experience.

This restaurant is not recommended if you want to have a peaceful night. It is definitely not your typical English curry place. The stale poppadoms were disappointing and I don't think I will come back. I will stick to Hawelli, which is great and located across the street. I wouldn't be surprised if the food preparation here is subpar. There seems to be a lot of mess and uncleanliness in the kitchen. The bartender also needs to be more relaxed. The way he looked at me made me feel uncomfortable, as if I was going to steal something instead of just getting a takeaway.

Review done: My family and I am a huge fan of Kerala dishes. I’ve been to several Kerala restaurants in London but they don’t come anywhere near the quality and the taste served in Kayak restaurant. As starters we had the Mixed seafood platter and Kayal Konju Chilly. It’s certainly fair to say the starters made us hungrier and more excited to get the mains. As mains, we had the full thilapi, porotta, chicken curry and ghee rice. They were delicious as expected. After polishing off the plates, we moved to the deserts pineapple Kesari and semiya payasam.
