Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the food was really nice, traditional British fish and chips. The only problem was that there was too much of it and we couldn't finish it. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I frequently visit this restaurant during my lunch breaks, especially for their chips and katsu. I go a few times each month. They also have an outdoor stand when the Whitecross Markets are happening. The midday specials are excellent and quite generous. Don't miss out on getting the curry sauce with your chips! We purchased this food through Too Good To Go and we were very pleased with our experience. The food was hot, the chips were perfectly cooked, and the steak and mushroom pie was delicious. The staff was friendly and polite, and the prices were great for central London—much cheaper than where we live. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

I made a reservation at the Barbican before a concert, which is conveniently close. Unfortunately, our booking coincided with a large party of 51 people that arrived before us, causing our food to take 25 minutes to arrive after we placed our order. While I have no complaints about the fish and chips—they were excellent—the delay took away some of the charm of our visit.
