"had a very pleasant meal in the kyngswell huhn with speck and brie in a beautiful sauce and fresh vegetables and sourté potatoes followed by a very tasty brombeere and apple crumbs. my companion had lasagna and chocolate brownie with ice and sauce, which was also well cooked. this was the most tasty meal I have experienced for a very long time and I recommend to the kyngswell, I like the atmosphere here too full character and old world charm can not wait to go back! thank you, kyngswell."

We visited your restaurant for the first time this evening and we will certainly be returning. The food and service were exceptional. I have tried many burgers at various restaurants on the island, and yours was definitely the best I have ever had.

The staff are so welcoming. The building is old and has lovely features. The food is brilliant. The vegetarian food is more imaginative than most places and is well done. The sundaes are the best! Good ale too. Definitely my favourite place to eat.

sat here today for my birthday had a beautiful lamb roast so much love on the plate with fantastic veg and the gravy to die for well made to the chef for keeping the high standard. also the service was excellent. very attentive and polite. all round a nice place to eat and drink!

We had some really lovely nights spent here during our recent holiday! Superb food, wonderful friendly staff and a really welcoming atmosphere make this (in our opinion) one of the best Pubs on the Island. Would not hesitate to recommend it and we can't wait until we can come back!

We visited this restaurant on Mother's Day with a group of 6 people. The freshly cooked food was piping hot and absolutely amazing. The friendly service, with table service, made the experience even better. We will definitely be coming back again as we haven't found anywhere else that comes close to this place.
