Food surprisingly good given the old-fashioned feel that other reviewers talk about (plastic flowers and tablecloths). Not gourmet standard but doesn't pretend to be, and prices very good.

Déjeuner avec un groupe, avoir le sourire du service avec une cuisine de qualité pour un prix très raisonnable. voilà plusieurs raisons de faire une halte dans ce restaurant. Et avec le soleil , profiter de la terrasse.

Nous sommes arrivés à 12h30 et partis à 14h sans avoir pris ni dessert ni café, service très long et médiocre, attente entre les plats de plus de 3/4 d'heure, serveuse inexistante, pas de pain, viande trop cuite...C'était peut être un jour sans, mais nous n'y retournerons pas. Speisekarte ansehen

Service d'eplorable,accueil lamentable, vraiment très déçu, chambre vétustes (dangereuses) cache de lumière qui ne tener pas ampoules qui a éclater au visage, araignée au toilette et poussière,moquette très sale mal entretenu,et télé très veuille il n'y avait pas toute les chaînes

Nous cherchions un restaurant agréable pour déjeuner sur notre passage dans le Lot et Garonne et cet endroit nous est apparu très accueillant.La viande était excellente, elle fondait dans la bouche.Pour le dessert, les profiteroles au chocolat avec du chocolat coulant chaud aurait été meilleures mais elles étaient bonnes quand même.Seul peiti bémol c'est le passage des voitures juste à côté.Je recommande vivement ce restaurant à tous ceux qui sont de passage dans la ville de Lavarzac.

De passage à Lavardac, à 13h30, je vois l'enseigne, et je m'arrête, sans rien connaître de l'établissement. Malgré l'heure tardive, nous sommes accueillis de façon très sympathique.Nous prenons le premier menu, à 17€, avec gaspacho, entrée plat et dessert. Menu copieux, cuisine simple mais de qualité, avec un excellent onglet, le tout dans un cadre agréable.Seul bémol: le vin en pichet est une horrible piquette, c'est dommage, mais ça n'a pas d'importance, car quand on conduit .....Je recommande de s'y arrêter, c'est un très bon rapport qualité prix, et l'accueil est excellent. We spotted the hotel and restaurant whilst driving by so decided to turn around and investigate. On doing so we’re met by Nelly Pedronie the proprietor who made us feel very welcome, so in turn booked a table for dinner to be taken amongst the pretty trees and flowers in the front garden. On arrival tables had been set up for diners outside although we appeared to be the only ones to have chosen to eat amongst the trees. What a super evening and not expensive yet more than good value for money. Super quality food, my prawns and Avocado could not have been better prepared, so fresh and enjoyable followed by potatoes and a white fish that was so tender, excellent.

Me the Mrs are cruising on the Baise in a canal boat, we decided to moor our boat here as it was near the supermarket. The mooring is attached to the restaurant so we decided to eat here. I absolutely loved it so did the mrs. Simple food cooked delivered to perfection. Service was not super fast but the perfect pace for our evening. I had the rabbit terrine the Mrs had a bacon, walnut apple salad. Both were clean fresh not heavy. For Main we both had ‘perch pike’ which We’d both never had before it was delicious, crispy battered (I think) skin meaty tender fish. Being relatively 'lightweight ' at trying new food, we decided we must try a local hostelry and visited this very pleasant restaurant whilst staying in nearby Nerac. And we are glad we did. It was a very hot day, so we sat in the delightful front garden shaded by trees and parasols. Madame Pedronie it seems is front of house and Monsieur Pedronie is in the kitchen. Both are very good at what they do. All the others dining were locals, which is obviously a good sign. One of those tables was obviously an intense business meeting of 5 or 6 very animated people.
