Restaurant La Grille

Sheltered here from this afternoons thunderstorm! Very nice croque monsieur, friendly staff and a view of the opera grand avignon. Might be back for dinner!

Good budget restaurant The plate is full and amount is good. My food was very tasty and the price was fair. I recommend this restaurant for who visit Avignon.

Very ordinary food in a good location. We found that the side streets offered better fare than the places in the main square, which are clearly after the tourist trade and make minimal effort.

If you need a break this is the right place. They have good food, cold rose wine and great staff - what do you need more during the summer days. And last but not the least, prices are really ok.

They have a large outdoor cafe area which is very pleasant. Ordered pizza which was delivered promptly and was delicious. The service was good and prompt. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. Speisekarte ansehen

We stayed in Avignon for four nights and ended up visiting La Civette twice. First we had cheeseburgers and the other time I had Paysanne-salad and my husband had pizza with three cheeses. Everything tasted really good and the service was friendly!

I was pleased with my croque madam and how informative and nice the waiter was. he recommended a local beer and explained that the beer's name "Cigalle" was the name of a local cicada which I guess Avignon in known for as I started seeing souvenirs of them all over town!

This was the best restaurant we found in Avignon. Food was great, staff friendly and location very central. We visited twice in this restaurant. Menu was short but there was plenty of choices to make. At least burgers, pizzas and salads were great to taste. If you try to find good place to eat in Avignon, go to La Civette! Speisekarte ansehen
