Sitio totalmente recomendado, platos de calidad a buen precio en pleno centro de Oviedo.

I've eaten at the local for work reasons and the day menu has an excellent value for money. I was told at all times what dishes were suitable for celiacs and did not contain gluten, so I see it convenient.

Poor service and poor food. Stopped here for an evening meal but were rudely told most of the things we wanted to order were not available. Finally managed to get a salad and some cod but both were very poor. Wine was nice though.

Pedimos para picar. Los chipirones estaban buenos y la verdura bien cocinada, de segundo pedimos pollo crujiente que estaba muy bueno y jugoso. El postre, tarta de turrón, era ligero y abundante. Me sorprendió para bien la cocina. Repetiremos y probaremos más de la carta. Speisekarte ansehen

Service was exceptional, the waitress Beatriz went above and beyond. We had the meal of the day and it was excellent. We tried both the parrillada de mar (seafood and veggies) and the seafood crepes. Both were delicious. Salmon with potatoes was very good as well. Generous portions. Dessert arroz con leche was greatly enjoyed. We would come come back. Very good meal.

Vine a comer algo a la hora de cenar. La carta tiene muchas opciones diferentes para elegir. El lugar tiene un comedor subiendo escaleras, pero también tiene una terraza y algunas mesas en la entrada. Los preparativos son muy buenos y la atención del personal es muy buena. Es un lugar recomendado para ir a morder algo rápido o comer algunas de las posibilidades del menú. Desafortunadamente, el aseo está situado en la zona superior, lo que dificulta el acceso a personas con movilidad reducida.

Not knowing where to grab a bite to eat after getting into Oviedo, we happened upon La Doble Vida. What a pleasant surprise. It was pretty packed when we got here at around 2.30pm but service was quick and efficient. It didn’t take long for the food to be served either. Our waitress spoke English so that was a great help. The serves are quite big. So unless you’re absolutely famished, a “Starter” course by itself would be more than satisfying! We ordered the cod, gulas, fried eggs, and potatoes starter which was delicious. We also had the Huertas with red and green peppers, eggplant, zucchini, and Cantabrian anchovies tosta.
