"We visited La Lombarda for a special meal, having not been in years and had good experiences. However, this was not a great experience. It was quiet with 6 tables (at most). We waited over 30 minutes for our starters which were an antipasti and bruschetta. My bruschetta was just chopped tomatoes on garlic bread.... Have had better in chain Italian restaurants. My calzone was cold in the middle and very poorly made. My husband's pizza was very average. Again, we waited over 20 minutes for our plates to be cleared and no one checked or asked how we found the food. We only got our plates cleared because we called someone over to ask for the bill. The prices are high and for the quality of food, they are out right atrocious. Considering the competition of other Italian restaurants in Aberdeen, La Lombarda doesn't even compete, unfortunately. It is such ashame as it has been a staple in Aberdeen's city centre for so many years but has gone downhill considerably since I last visited."

Currently in Aberdeen for a Birthday getaway with my partner. After spending a while checking out places for dinner online we saw this restaurant close to the hotel doing a meal deal. We arrived to a very quiet restaurant (which i assume had just opened)....

Went for an early dinner having received a gift voucher. The atmosphere is cosy and traditional and the service was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my Penne Arrabbiata which had a real chilli kick to it and my partner said his lasagne was excellent. Lovely staff too. Speisekarte ansehen

Went with my parter and his family had an amazing time staff so welcoming and friendly and meal was a 10/10 everything was delicious I had the tarter de salmon as a starter and the pollo alla champagne with pasta both was just as delicious as each other, Would recommend to other friends and family’s

Had been here a few times in the past but not for a good few years, we had always enjoyed the food in the past but standards have slipped badly. I had the Parfait di pollo to start and it was the worst pate I have ever had, could not even finish it as it was so ba, I then had the Hawaiian pizza which which had an unusual taste and was nothing special, my wife said her meal was okay but bland. The floor and our table were covered in crumbs and we were there at evening opening time so that must have been left since lunchtime, disgusting!
