Very good place, very kind staff. We asked for a normal pasta and they made it even though it wasn't on the menu. It's a much appreciated gesture.. many thanks to the chef and staff. The delicious wine, fresh fish and a wide choice of dishes on the menu. I recommend it to everyone, I hope to return soon. My experience at this restaurant was super positive. I generally don't leave reviews but when I'm impressed in a good way I always do. I ordered roasted octopus, spaghetti with seafood, mixed fried food and a t3tt4 of pistachio nun all accompanied with some good white wine... I was here 2 weeks ago. Place chosen based on reviews!! The staff deserves 5 stars, because they were friendly, helpful but above all attentive. The food, alas, was nothing to write home about!! At home I would have made the pasta the same way, but since I'm in a restaurant where the chef's preparation should certainly be superior to my own as a beginner in the kitchen, I expected much more. We had lunch in this beautiful and luxurious restaurant, premised on Porto Cesareo which is full of restaurants... But we chose the Medusa and we were really happy straight away, there is a familiar atmosphere, the 2 very good waiters, we started with a nice bottle of Chardonnay, then the first potato gnocchi with prawns and clams, fried Ionian fish and a particular smoked tuna in a crust and finally a better babà than the ones I ate in Naples and Salerno. Excellent wedding anniversary lunch, from the welcome to the lunch which was sublime from the appetizers to the dessert as well as the selection of wines worth mentioning, the tuna in crust which was a must in our trips to this restaurant, chosen by us as the best in Porto Cesareo. Finally, the kindness and attention of the staff and owners that make the difference...an unmissable stop for regular and occasional visitors who want to enjoy the wonders of this land.
