"As overnight guests in the attached hotel (also recommended), we met up with friends here. The restaurant is furnished with great attention to detail and the menu, according to our taste, is clear but very well put together. There were four of us and we all had different starters, pasta dishes and main courses. Not a single one of them wasn't tasty! The portions were more than sufficient and if there was anything to complain about at all, it was that the pork fillet in the main course was a tad too dry but that's complaining on a very high level. We asked to be served wines that matched the courses. Here too we were presented with a first class selection of Tuscan wines. The service was extremely friendly and courteous, all processes seemed to be very well coordinated and the staff were very familiar with each other. In the end we had to realize that the bill was moderate. We were very surprised about that. I can only warmly recommend the restaurant."

This restaurant had an eclectic vibe to it. The food was great, though during our visit the choices were somehow limited but were exceptional nonetheless. The atmosphere is very conducive for having a good night out with friends; have a nice dinner then some drinks. This place being in the middle of the City of Lucca just makes it more special. Parking: Since this is located in the medieval walled city of Lucca, we parked our vehicle outside the city walls. There were parking spaces outside the Porta S. Maria gate and was a short 6-8 minute walk to the restaurant.
