I've known this bistro for over 15 years. And it's a shame, because the change of proprio, a few years ago, Bistrot of passage without more.

Perfect typical coffee. . . the staff is excellent, so fast and efficient and without too many problems. It was so good and at a very reasonable price too!

very friendly and good selection for young family (pasta, burger, pizza). eating good quality and waiter actually warn us about our choice of wee, as he thought we didn't know how sweet it would be and he was right (we thought it was dry)....Neverty pancakes, popular with the whole family.

we thought here was a quick late lunch after we arrived in paris in our nearby hotel on the afternoon. we had the “Mulpenformule” at €14, which was a teller of moule frites, and a small glass wee. good decent (although house white wine...may be better! . the breakfast was also good, cheap for a coffee and a croissant. we came to dinner on a Saturday evening, 12 of us came in total and were immediately greeted and sitting. the service was fabulous, delicious and wee of a very good standard. we had a brilliant evening with nice food, which I highly recommend. the steak and the mini dessert with champagne to follow. I am definitely back on my next trip to paris!

Café La Place is a friendly place for having a drink and a snack. Prices are as always in Paris a bit high, a beer (demi) and a fruit cocktail set me back 11€, but it's pretty standard for the neighborhood. Only caveat is that...the terrace is a gas chamber in the winter as all the smokers sit there and there is no way around it. There is room for improvement on that point.

I often come here for a few reasons. The service is by far superior to most cafes/bistros/brasseries that you find deeper within Paris. The food is always well prepared and they have an excellent wine list. The prices however are quite expensive and you can...run up a nice bill if staying 4 hours. But it is worth it! For fans of typical french foods, like canadr confit, steak tartare, profiteroles... you can't go wrong although the steak tartare can leave hungry eaters a little peckish. Very buys and interesting place to spend your evening people watching too. Enjoy! Speisekarte ansehen
