"Nous avons découvert ce restaurant il y a plus de quinze ans, l'avons fréquenté avec assiduité, y avons fêté des anniversaires, des communions et autres fêtes de famille. Puis nous y sommes moins allés sans trop savoir pourquoi... Il y a quelques semaines, un lundi, nous cherchions un endroit pour déjeuner; c'est toujours compliqué de trouver un bon restaurant un lundi à Aix. Et nous avons réalisé que l'auberge provençale était ouverte le lundi. Deuxième bonne surprise, une terrasse a été créée. Le service est toujours aussi chaleureux, la cuisine délicieuse et les prix raisonnables. Nous reprenons nos marques/"

"We are always looking for interesting new restaurants in our area where many places are overpriced, dull or both. Brasserie de La Fontaine was an excellent find. As locals we were pleased with the easy parking just behind the restaurant in this modern replica of...a Provencal village. The Corsican owner was welcoming and seated us at a quiet table that suited us for conversation. My scallops were fresh, four large ones, perfectly cooked with a light lemony sauce, vegetables and rice. My companions were equally satisfied with a steak and an Italian assortment plate. The choice of wine is limited but includes some of the better local wines. We we were well satisfied with a red Chateau Coussin. Our home made desserts were equally wonderful. My tarte tatin was large with a good caramel flavor. We will definitely return. The terrace in summer must be lovely. Popular with locals a good sign."

"We were really disappointed. In fact, I think we had a lot of waiting for comments, photos etc that we put the bar too high. We ordered two pizzas, including a Biquette (chèvre) and a Margarita. The cheese literally has no taste either mozzarella or goat. For goat pizza, I thought I could eat a ham cheese, where was the taste of the goat??? Pizzas are eatable but no more, they lack terribly taste. Too bad because we were expecting a lot of this pizzeria. Otherwise the prices remain correct (at least if the pizzas were good), and the welcome is good!"

"We were discovered The house of the Castle several years ago.. We appreciate the quality of products and the simplicity of always smiling staff. A warm and family restaurant. Also pleasant in winter near the wood stove as summer on its pretty shaded terrace. It was thus for us to celebrate our marriage there. We trusted them and the result exceeded our expectations. They took care of everything, which allowed us to appreciate this privileged moment.
