"The Parador is well worth a review. It is one of the most beautiful I have visited and I was lucky enough to spend a night in this historic place. A luxury for the senses. (Beauty is always subjective of course) It is located in an old 12th century monastery established next to the Sella River, within the Picos de Europa National Park. Built in the time of Alfonso I. Between 1674 and 1699 the monastery was transformed from there its baroque elements such as the current cloister or the bell tower that replaced the original one and was built in 1699. Like many other monasteries it suffered the confiscation and abandoned in the XIX century. In 1998 it was inaugurated as a tourist hostel, for which it had to be expanded by one wing. The complex has been a national monument since 1907."

"Estando de vacaciones en Asturias paramos en este restaurante sin tener ninguna referencia, pedimos las fabes que por 15 euros comen dos personas de sobra, y están increíbles!! Luego pedimos dos cachopos, de cecina y el de Chema, y es para morir. ¡Qué buenos! Aún estando lleno, decidimos pedir arroz con leche, era casero y riquísimo. Muy, muy recomendable."
