I really wanted to love straits kitchen as I would like to see a corner singapurs in this part of london. I love that it is dog friendly, but it has a lot to improve from eating (poor) to service (they have the food order wrong). I feel that the kitchen fights and I am not even looking for authentic. Waited over 100 minutes for a steak and a fish entree. When the food finally came out, one dish was incorrect (wrong entree) and had to be sent back. More waiting for the right meal. Waiter never filled up our waters for the entire night. Excuse for poor service was “we had a lot of orders tonight.” Too expensive for the poor service. To their credit, the food was good. Not worth it though

Staff seemed very new,anxious and unsure. Seated at a table facing the bar area but obstructed by a wall, so there was no ambience to speak of. All we saw were waiters passing. The food was very tasty but not quite the calibre I expected. The menu was decent value but I’d have been extremely disappointed had we paid a la carte prices. Asked us to leave our table before dessert had been served on our 3 course menu. Refused to accept open table reward cheque despite their not being on the exceptions list. Will absolutely not return.

It is with a heavy heart that i write this. Finally got here after having had to rearrange after a period of illness. The hotel decor is beautiful food was good, staff were attentive and friendly. But sadly all that didn't matter at the end, we were given the bill, but they then took it back and added and extra £300 on to it. For a missing person from Christmas, I had cancelled that person giving enough notice back in December. When i rebooked it was for 3 people for my 60th birthday, and that is how many people they were expecting. It was so embarrassing for us, other diners staring at us, staff making a commotion and us being made to feel like we were thieves trying to get away with steali... Speisekarte ansehen
