Everything about my visit to this great restaurant was right. Really nice location and decoration, a bit further away from the crowded streets. The service absolutely charming, although working under pressure. And the food. The food was really amazing great balance... of taste and freshness of ingredients. The plate presentation was also amazing. This combined with reasonable portions and really reasonable prices makes it my best experience in Montpellier so far.... PERIODICALS

Dinner: of a foody restaurant This restaurant was recommended to me. I sat outside and decided on the shrimp ravioli, cassoulet, chocolate biscuit and the suggested wines. The shrimp ravioli was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. I imagine it had lots...of cream but not sure. Cassoulet was tasty but couldn’t finish as it was so heavy after the ravioli. The wines with both courses were great. The dessert was nice but nothing could beat the ravioli! A bit more than I usually spend on dinner but worth it

Excellent restaurant for meat eaters. 3 visits and never disappointed with the quality of the dishes. My vegetarian colleague enjoyed his dishes during the first visit but came out disappointed the next two times. Indeed, it was simply like eating a vegetable broth without more. It's a shame because our first experience at the alchemist was simply irreproachable. Meat dishes such as vegetarian dishes were absolutely delicious, and they were hearty. Go if you're not vegetarians! Contact the vegetarian restaurant before booking.
