Lovely place. Good service. spectacular ham, chestnuts and chorizo eggs. pd. did not return to the sausage agustina (mental note).

Just for the fact of eating here, it's worth visiting the chest. excellent food and very friendly and professional staff. the croquettes and the rod of the dam are spectacular, but in fact, any dish you order (I have already gone several times) is a sure success. And if he leaves a hole for desserts, better.

I know that's a mighty strong statement but other than the paella at Casa Carmela in Valencia, this was my best meal while in Spain. Great service, food and wine. Sure it was one of those food moments when food, wine, friends and environment all collide to create an awesome experience but that is what its all about. The worst customer service ever. We nearly needed to apologise to enter in the bar to spend money in it. The waiter was extremely blunt and rude and the waitress was literaly sweeping our feet while we where having a drink and trying the jamon at the bar. The waiter has taken the time to cut the worst part of the jamon to serve it to us when he has listened to us speaking in english. Please do not waste your time in that place there are other restaurants.

We stopped here for lunch prior to a fascinating visit to 5 Jojas Jamon. The restaurant was busy but not overcrowded .A excellent way to begin the afternoon . Very pleasant environment with good service and a traditional menu, mixing tapas with full dishes. Of course we ate jamon with fried eggs and chips having started with some delcious croquets and finished sharing an excellent cheesecake. Did not check the wine list as I was driving. After lunch the tour of 5 Jotas was a real education as the dedication and expertise that goes into preparing some of the best hams in Spain was completely unknown to us.

It is our second time in this town. We have always remembered it as the best place for ham. So when our favourite jamon place pointed us to this restaurant (owned by the same group) for a meal, we didn't hesitate at all! The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are lots of options on the menu, and of course we had the jamon (5J)! We then ordered a couple of mains, including the pork tartare (not for the faint hearted) and the pork sirloin with Pedro Ximanez sauce. Everything was very delicious. The price is maybe 10-15% more than others, and the quality of the ingredients and the cooking is much better than most places! The dining room is spacious and there is also a lovely outdoor din...
