"a search for a place to eat in the region close to the langeais we decide to cross the loire on the advice of tripadvisor and come to this farm above the castle of villandry in the countryside... we eat at the restaurant by a warm evening of late summer under the trees ... little dishes but excellent quality and good value price. I ate a piater of holy jacques on apple jelly and passion fruit vinaigrette (all seasoned with olive oil) and then duck fragrant with citrus on a bed of small lentils. My wife ate tuna mixed with celery on algae salad. The children ate the typical child menu. (polet with potato purée, syrup and ice). the very good, light, butterless and at a good price .. friendly service .. a mention to the lady who also tries to speak Italian with children ..."

"Thanks to the personel of service and the personel of the kitchen all have been able to reconcilier us with the French cuisine. Because from two srmaines we spend our holidays in france we find nothing but croque, burger or pizza on the cards. At the Red Horse we had a sumptuous meal for a fashionable price. Thank you all for the personel. For my birthday we have a velvety beef net accompanied by a good bottle of red wine."

"We were very pleasantly surprised. a very good menu, well prepared and presented. Peasane salad, very good yes, there is a large amount of pork, in different varieties, ham, roast, so there is little salad, but what was said was very good. we ate on the terrace in a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere. the attention of 10."

"Au vu des avis laissés sur ce site nous nous attendions à une bonne petite maison, sans prétention mais au savoir faire traditionnel avec des produits du terroir.Nous avons été désagréablement surpris par des plats qui laissent penser qu'ils viennent d'ailleurs que des cuisines de cet établissement.Pour 16,50€ ne vous attendez pas à grand chose et vous ne serez pas déçu. Par contre n'espérez pas trouver la perle rare.Terrine de poisson maison? Sauce d'accompagnement excellente ceci dit.Faux filet demandé bleu, servi à point avec des frites industrielles. Sauce béarnaise plutôt bonne.Plateau de fromage... au secours!!!Desserts sois disant maison, j'en doute fortement. On fait mieux chez soi c'est sur.Si vous cherchez de l’authentique passez votre chemin."

"We really can't say that this restaurant is making great food. A boss who speaks openly at the bar with his employee of the arrangements of his very strong contract. A waiting 25 minutes before you have the card to order at any beginning of service. And all this to get a dish honestly worthy of a self... and the worst of all I believe! Fries displayed houses on the map and once in the SURGELÉ plate! Frankly pass your way is really limiting..."
