Excellent imaginative local specialities of food, very friendly, comfortable and nicely positioned, good prices. Great with children.

We had the famous welsh , a goat cheese starter and a coupe ch 'ti dessert. It was all very delicious, and the atmosphere was really relaxed and friendly. In spite of being busy, waiters still had the time to chat a bit, were cheerful and made us feel welcome the whole evening. Definitely worth visiting if you want to taste some traditional Nord food!

Everything here is about the cheese! Every single dish revolves around cheese meaning that you will either love or hate the food. There is very little english speaking the restaurant is full of locals. As long as you are good pointing to the dish you want, the waitress will do her best to talk to you in English but that is dicey at best. Go and enjoy the local cuisine! Speisekarte ansehen

Classic cheese cuisine typical of the HautsFrance region which seems more Belgian than French. You must try one of the Le Welsh meals which are super powered Welsh Rarebits cooked in Belgian brown beer and served with chips. Full of locals who pop in for the satisfying if very filling foods or just beer and aperitifs served at the bar. Good value at just over 20 Euros including wine.

There are two Le Broc restaurants in Lille, we visited the city centre one. Booking was essential for a busy Friday evening. The menu (accessed via a Q code on tables) is wide and wonderful. We shared a fondue dinner partner is a carnivore and I’m veggie the option was open to us to share the fondue but have our own dipping food. Do leave room for dessert lemon sorbet with vodka and the truly sensational apple sorbet with Calvados. Great service, lovely atmosphere, fabulous food.

We were so grateful to be accommodated for a table without a booking at 7pm on a busy Saturday night late November. What a find this place is.... a great atmosphere an amazing range of cheese dishes, my idea of heaven. We chose the baked camembert with fried potatoes (which were a bit mushy) a tartine with cheese tomato a side of fries. Both were very tasty, next time it will be the fondue for us. What a menu selection, you could eat here so many times without eating the same cheese dish twice. Service was great. We never felt rushed prices were so reasonable. We struggled a bit comfort wise with the high table we were allocated but hey, we didn't book so we can't complain. Speisekarte ansehen
