"I went to Le Flandre with my Dad for a meal on a Saturday night in mid-October, and despite expecting it to be quiet it was banged out. My advice would be to book, even at this time of year.There's a great choice on the menu, including a very reasonable set menu, and there's more than just seafood if you're not a fish person. Vegetarians are less well catered for mind. However, when you are a few hundred yards from the ocean you should really try the fish.We went la carte, and between us we polished off a dozen fresh langoustines with a homemade mayonnaise. If you don't mind getting your fingers messy, go for the this or one of the other crustaceans platter to start.Whilst I was envious of my Dad's choice of main - a beautifully cooked Dover sole - I have to say my own main won in terms of taste sensation for the night. If you go to Le Flandre and you don't mind a foie gras, then be sure to have the scallops and pan fried foie gras (duo St. Jacques au foie gras poelee). It's pricey at €29 but is super tasty and flavoursome. Very rich also.Being a greedy wee pig I then polished off a trio of cheeses AND and a creme catalana for desert. The cheese was very nice but served with a salad and a very small onion relish, whereas I would have preferred a few different accompaniments to bring out the flavours of each cheese.Not the cheapest meal but delicious, fresh and served by a friendly bunch of staff. Would highly recommend."

"L 'accueil est très sympa mais les pizzas ne sont vraiment pas bonnes. Pomme de terre surgelées type rissolées sur la pizza savoyarde. Pizza pleine d 'eau sur la Burger à cause du steak surgelé. Obligés de la refaire cuire.... franchement très déçus."

"If you appreciate as much as we did, do not risk crossing the door again, at the risk of overcoming a huge disappointment. The change of owner was accompanied by a noticeable decrease in the quality of the dishes. They've become very medium. Only the kindness of servers, smiling and effective remains. If someone knows where we can find the old team, that they don't hesitate to share the info;"

"I have a lot of difficulty understanding some comments. We probably didn't eat the same thing. for our two stops in this restaurant, we have enjoyed it. Of course, it is not hyper trend, however, what one eats there is very correct in regard to this that we have tasted other to the palmyre. the Atlantic plate is good, the place very good. Idem for burgers and muclade. short the value ratio is correct, fishes precisely cooked and products taste."

"Called in for a casual lunch on the last day of our holiday, it was a French Bank Holiday weekend and busy. We tried two of the 17.50 menus and found it all very good and promptly served and good well priced wines and beers with the meal. Madam and one of the young waiting staff spoke English to us and I really enjoyed my sweet with was fromage blanc topped with cooked apples, very good. A good place to east nice french food and receive good service."
