"the restaurant is based on a market kitchen on slate. We went to this restaurant with a groupon deal (entrance, dish, card dessert for 2 people) of a value of 90,80 € paid 59,90 €.At the end of the meal, I point out to the boss that the proposed deal is lying and dishonest, that by taking the most expensive dishes we arrive far from the account. without argument, she calls the boss who justifies it explains that the €90.80 have been calculated from the most expensive dishes of the Christmas card !! (of course). Except that the offer dates from July... "We came to Barr for local vines testing and as usual decided to try local restaurants. By share chance we stop by at Au Potin. The name sounds like a Russian President name - we found it a bit funny and decided give it a try. The result was fantastic! We were the company of 5 people and all of us choose different dish. We have had foie gras for a starter. They fry it and serve it with lentil. Great starter! One of the best foie gras dish I had so far. We have tried each other dishes and all of them were great. Weal, beef, fish, risotto - all was superb. I would strongly recommend weal, risotto and beef. Also we have had deserts - brownies were out of this world! All together if you driving through Alsace I would strongly recommend to stop at Au Potin for lunch or dinner."
