The Lime Tree - Speisekarte

Ordered a medium rare steak.Came out medium. No bread with meal.No sugar came with coffee.Even though i dont take sugar.A very poor experience overall.A good sourdough wouldn't go amiss.

Thanks to the Limetree team for a fabulous meal, lovely wine selection, with friendly service in great surroundings . We were catching up with a group of friends and really loved this venue . Highly recommended. We will definitely be back next time we are in Limavady .

Having eaten for many years in ‘The Limetree’, last night was the first time to visit under the new management Wow….soo much more than we could have hoped for! I visited The Lime Tree last week with my husband and some friends and we had a fantastic evening, with even better food. I had the chicken supreme and my husband had the steak Diane, the food was superb. They had an extensive wine list and the service was also second to none. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!!

We spent my sister and brother in law's Golden Wedding Anniversary celebrations at the Limetree. Everything was perfect. A lovely intimate restaurant with excellent food served beautifully by Louise and her assistant. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Look forward to coming back. Wife and I have had dinner here several times since Lime Tree reopened under new ownership just couple of months ago. Wonderful food, a varied and affordable wine list (by glass, carafe or bottle) and all with efficient service with a smile. Pay approximately £60 for full 3 course dinner for two. Wine extra. My husband and I had a beautiful Saturday evening date night. This small intimate restaurant is under new management and they have certainly put this hidden gem firmly on the map. Food was exceptional and perfectly executed. Staff are very attentive and courteous. The whole vibe of the restaurant is warm relaxed and friendly. Will most definitely be dining here again and again.

Had a lovely meal in The Lime Tree tonight! New owners only opened this week but it tonight's meal is anything to go by locals still have an amazing restaurant to enjoy. (Only here on holiday! . Everything we ordered was to a high standard but if I had to highlight anything you must try the Affogato on the dessert menu, truly delicious! Great value for money too. Good luck with your new venture, we will definitely pay a visit on our next trip to Limavady!

Very disappointing meal tonight. Ordered surf turf spaghetti. Menu said pork and shrimp with garlic, chilli and Parmesan. No chilli no Parmesan! Very mediocre. Ordered a medley of vegetables to find they were frozen vegetables. Don’t use frozen vegetables at home so certainly don’t expect them in a restaurant. Queried this with the waitress and she said the chef said it’s only the green beans that are frozen! I’m afraid the cauliflower and carrots must’ve been in the same bag. Steak Diane £23) came with 2 small slices of steak , with a sauce no veg, just as well hubby ordered garlic chips, which were actually good. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
