Limoncello - Speisekarte

Home cooked Italian food. Very good value for money. Lovely evening for my partner’s birthday. Thank you for lovely evening as we came from Cardiff for few days.

Felt a bit let down. Dinner with friends, but staff seemed a bit unfriendly and the food was not great. I had chicken with Gorgonzola cheese. It was luke warm and tasteless, husbands steak was also lack lustre. Will not be returning.

Restaurants like this is what we need, authentic, quality and great value. Having spoken to the owner I sincerely hope they can get through this dire time for catering establishments as they so deserve it, many thanks for a great meal Speisekarte ansehen

I tried the bruschetta as a starter, it was served on a bake-at-home style roll which was not very appetizing. The cannelloni was good, but the chicken dish was lacking in both visual appeal and flavor. I do not plan on coming back, which is surprising for what appears to be an Italian family restaurant.

Visiting our daughter,recently moved to Abingdon.Booked for dinner,never been here before turned out a very pleasant experience,although busy the staff were pleasant and helpful and the food was way above par for Italian restaurants in the UK.Between us we had a pasta dish,two veal dishes and a grilled trout all were well prepared and tasty and washed down with an acceptable Pinot Grigio.Highly recommended.

Had a lovely meal again as i have been here a few times now, but on the last visit' we were placed on a table at the front of the restaurant which was fine, but i did not appreciate having just eat delivery riders standing next to me waiting for online orders with their arse in my face while i'm sat down eating. I love this restaurant but i'm not prepared to put up with that. Make them wait outside as your diners should get priority not made to feel uncomfortable. Speisekarte ansehen

We drove from Newbury especially to have dinner here. We were not disappointed with the food, itwas delicious! However, the atmosphere with the staff was very poor. The waiter and waitresses level of etiquette was very poor. Not a single smile. My husband ordered 3 courses and I ordered 2. We observed that nwarly everyone who left before us was offered a glass of limoncello, but not us! Such a shame about the poor atmosphere, very off putting. Woll not recommended and will not be back!

I went to this restaurant for lunch with my granddaughter, as they only serve pizzas during lunchtime rather than in the evening. The pizzas were delicious, freshly made to order with the option to make adjustments, and they were huge. My granddaughter couldn't finish hers, but the staff offered to box it up for us to take home. It was great value for the quality of the food. The service was friendly and welcoming, with a complimentary serving of water, olives, and very fresh bread rolls upon arrival. The setting was lovely, with Italian frescoes and quiet music playing in the background.

After reading reviews, I have to say that I was disappointed with this restaurant. The decor left a lot to be desired upon first impression, and the bread rolls were already on every table uncovered before customers arrived. I ordered the lasagna as my main meal, but found the portion size to be lacking and the taste to be unsatisfactory. Other members of my party had pizza with large chunks of garlic on them. In all honesty, the food did not live up to expectations for homemade Italian cuisine, and I can't understand how they have good reviews. It seems that others have had similar experiences, as the complimentary limoncello mentioned in reviews did not materialize either. Speisekarte ansehen
