"This place was recommended by our hosts which we chanced for our anniversary meal. To be safe we booked a table for the Saturday night but that was not required... there's a discouraging sign aka restaurant near empty on a Saturday. Walking into the pub we were asked if we wanted to sit near the bar or restaurant, we opted for the restaurant for that more romantic feeling.. Have to say please can someone gift this place a leveller as all the pictures were skewiff aha We were the only couple, adjacent to us was a some young chav girls using it as a place to congregate with their mates. The drinks were basic but reasonably priced so I risked a French Martini which tasted like Oasis. The starters offered a good variety I ended up choosing the scallops with pea puree and parmaham for £8.50 and my partner a mozzarella salad. My x3 scallops were undercooked and for the price offensive. My partners salad was plentiful with fresh tomato and low grade mozzarella but the olives on top had been living in a jar since the dawn of time. Very mouldy in appearance and taste. This was fed back, sure the waitress then informed the chef who eyeballed us but nothing further occurred to appease we were just given a weak apology. For mains I chose the seabass with prawns and chorizo my bf selected the prawn asparagus risotto. My main I could not fault, the flavours were all there and every cooked nicely. The added vegetables were a let down.. they had made some tasty potatoes but then accompanied this with frozen veg laced with butter? The risotto was good apparently but once again undercooked seafood. Overall felt the waitresses did not want to be there and food very hit or miss. Any chance of any ambiance was dashed from loud young girls .Would I return, no."

first visit, pretty busy, pretty nice environment, bigger in the inner than it looks. no problem, the personal was good, but a little inexperienced. surprisingly inexpensive. the food was perfect. the place represents a very good value and I will visit again.

last night we had a very pleasant meal. the restaurant was busy, the staff was very friendly and helpful. the portions were large, there was a good menu and eating was very delicious. the place had a beautiful ambiente and my partner even got a yellow rose as we were gone. a very beautiful note.

Despite some negative reviews, we decided to try little italy last dosdsay while in the opposite on holiday. eating was great I had pizza, nutmeg pasta packed with shellfish both very good worth. it was extremely quiet so that we had the almost undivided attention of the very pleasing waitress. would return definitiw if ever again in the opposite.

Eat is nice. the service is not great. not sure if it is so because they are so busy, but the second time when we forget about eating. 1.5 hr wait for net and 30 minutes plus dessert. all in all we were there 3 hours and stayed without 3 of our desserts. the staff is not very vain, but I don't know if this was spotted because of so many complaining from different tables and was fed.

Having lived in Spilsby for nearly years I never really thought twice about this place. Not sure why we just always went to the Chinese for takeaway. But after we were recommended to try Little Italy we went and ordered some pizzas and garlic bread and I have to say I'm annoyed we didn't try this place sooner. Pizza was great not too soggy not too dry, all customizations were there. We only had to wait mins too! The price is very reasonable too, much cheaper than the awful pizzas across the road at Step In.
