"Of this lunch I will remember only the more than two hours waiting to see served the dish we had ordered (we inserted at 12:15 and were the first customers). Some attempts were made to disguise the wait with the entré, the small appetizer and the panificates served in the meantime, which ended up being the substitute of the meal instead of an introduction to the lunch itself. At 14:20 the dishes served were below the average of the territory and did not justify the cost and wait. At the replica of the restaurant we answer: we did not ask to eat on the terrace and we did not order what you support, so your answer is completely out of place. We are not gastronomic critics, but we ate in different restaurants, even stellati, and MAI has undergone such a wait. Sometimes it would be better to simply accept a criticism and apologize for the unacceptable delay."

"I am Italian and my husband is Irish, but we live in the UK. A couple years ago, while I was researching for a location for my wedding I came across Casa Scaparone” website”. The pictures will make you fall in love, but don 't get fooled by them. Before booking, I wanted to know more about the food etc so I started to investigate a little bit more and I started reading the reviews. I was quite shocked about all the bad reviews (There are a lot! . I was so in love with the location, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and I chose this location for my wedding. A week after my wedding, I can tell you that the location was picturesque BUT all the bad reviews regarding the food and service are real and unfortunately despite being a fab location, my guests didn 't have the best Italian food experience or service that I was hoping for them to have. Also, focussing on the good reviews I noticed that the following 5-star posts include duplicate photos. The pictures of the food and person sitting at the table are all identical. With truffle a plus 14th November 2021 Noteworthy 1st April 2022 Enchanting 30th October 2022 This sums up the experience at Casa Scaparone, everything looks wonderful, but underneath the façade is a poor approach to customer care where the management are happy to take your cash but are unapologetic about the quality and service. The buffet was ridiculously small, I can 't even call it buffet really, maybe a snack. The dinner was disappointing, the meat was not tender, and with two slices of boiled potato with a sprig of broccoli on the side which was quite sad. The most disappointing though was the cake. I ordered a millefoglie ai frutti di bosco . We didn 't get any cake but instead, we got a simple dessert which didn’t lend itself to a ceremonious cutting of the cake. Given we paid a significant amount for the food, we expected better. Overall, a big disappointment. We couldn’t recommend the venue for any party that includes catering and won’t be coming back."

"Ho chiesto una pizza con carne ben cotta perché in gravidanza. Viene dopo un sacco di certificati e con carne cruda. Chiedo gentilmente se possibile cucinare un po' di più. Torna sempre crudo. Dopo molto aspettare che venga bruciato indietro (nel frattempo le altre persone a tavola con me avevano già finito di mangiare la loro pizza) e mi è stato detto eh più cotto in modo da non poterlo fare. è bruciato! Ripeto che il motivo è perché sono incinta ed è stato semplicemente cucinare bene la carne, ma che come alternativa mi piace anche una semplice lattice. alla quarta volta la mia pizza finalmente cotta, ora quasi 23 la sera...(raggiungeto prima 20)La cameriera si è scusata, ma in contanti non scuse né un accenno di sconto."

"Food and drinks: Ho pranzato con amici ed abbiamo finalmente ritrovato la soddisfazione di una cucina tradizionale cucinata in modo esemplare, con materie di qualità eccellenti. Scegliendo il menù degustazione, abbiamo potuto gustare la maggior parte dei piatti proposti della carta. Porzioni abbondanti e tutti veramente ottimi. Negli antipasti da non perdere la carne marinata, che è di primissima qualità, ma soprattutto un piatto esclusivo di questo locale. Tajarin ottimi ed una guancia di vitello che si scioglie in bocca. Quando si mangia bene solitamente il conto diventa secondario, ma al di Vin Roero il rapporto qualità prezzo è un altro punto a favore. Non vediamo l’ora di ternare."
