"The meals were acceptable but nothing extraordinary and definitely not worth the price. This restaurant charges separately for vegetables and doesn't provide extras like bread or items such as olives and balsamic olive oil without an additional cost. We also ordered dessert, all of which were ice creams. After waiting 20 minutes, we decided to cancel the dessert, not wanting to waste any more time. Oddly enough, the desserts then arrived, but the ice cream scoops were melting. To be fair, they did remove the dessert charges from the bill, but this experience has turned us off from this particular Ivy branch. I should mention that the vegetables consisted of untrimmed green beans and lukewarm broccoli. Overall, the entire meal took just under three hours. Despite there being plenty of waiting staff, it seemed like the kitchen struggled with mixing up or delaying orders, even at our table. I was not impressed."

"Unfortunately, we had a poor experience. It’s a nice pub but the service from the start although friendly was very slow and not very professional. We had several of the waiters/waitresses walk past our table empty handed when we had empty plates etc and things were forgotten several times. We’re not sure if they were understaffed but there were only 2 other tables eating and it was quiet. The food was poor overall. It was bland and lacked seasoning. We both had the orzo salad which was meant to come with feta cheese but came with mainly mozzarella even though the waitress said it was vegan feta. The orzo was also very overcooked and mushy, had no seasoning and the dish was missing ingredients. We would have been fine if we were told this previously but we weren’t. The courgette fritters were again bland and the garlic and paprika mayo just tasted like mayo. We ordered the Apple Galette and the chocolate brownie for dessert. The brownie was actually very nice but the Apple galette was awful. It is supposed to have flaky pastry but it was completely soggy and uncooked. It had obviously been put in the microwave to heat up which was just pure laziness and really disappointing. We mentioned this to the waitress and luckily she took it off the bill for us. Unfortunately we won’t be returning."

"Understand it's a small space and you want to try and maximise custom but it feels quite rushed and cramped. It's also really noisy and not easy to hear the staff. The table was very small. If we had both had a starter and gone for steaks, we would have been looking at £150, just with a bottle of prosecco. It needs to be better than this for that money. Food is fine but not outstanding. We wouldn't not go back but it wouldn't be near the top of our list"

"I can't say I was particularly impressed by the food from the menu, likely due to the season. The escargot were lacking in flavor and firmness, and the garlic butter was more oily than buttery, with an abundance of herbs but very little garlic punch. The gammon steak was excessively salty, while the chips were just okay. On the bright side, my partner enjoyed her mezze. The coffee was good, and the selection of beers was decent. The service was very friendly, and the location and the building itself were beautiful. Additionally, there was some lively dancing with a live DJ, which helped offset the disappointing meal. Perhaps our experience was not as good as that of our friends who dine here more regularly. Overall, the service, ambiance, and music have certainly left us wanting to come back for another visit."
