"The meals were acceptable but nothing extraordinary and definitely not worth the price. This restaurant charges separately for vegetables and doesn't provide extras like bread or items such as olives and balsamic olive oil without an additional cost. We also ordered dessert, all of which were ice creams. After waiting 20 minutes, we decided to cancel the dessert, not wanting to waste any more time. Oddly enough, the desserts then arrived, but the ice cream scoops were melting. To be fair, they did remove the dessert charges from the bill, but this experience has turned us off from this particular Ivy branch. I should mention that the vegetables consisted of untrimmed green beans and lukewarm broccoli. Overall, the entire meal took just under three hours. Despite there being plenty of waiting staff, it seemed like the kitchen struggled with mixing up or delaying orders, even at our table. I was not impressed."

"A real wonderful experience...Had many a pint here after a game of golf but first time eating in..The staff just seem to take it in their stride although very busy with countless customers coming and going..It just didn't seem to faze them..Simply first class and perfect food to match...Thankyou to all the staff. "Lovely cosy and friendly pub. Wandered in with the dog to escape the rain. Played some board games to keep the kids entertained for an hour or so before ordering. Food was good, apparently the burger was fantastic. They could have a few more veggie options and the steak was OK (what I'd expect for the price). However overall good reasonable pub grub. The staff were welcoming and even bought the dog treats and water. Although, we sat inside, they do have a large covered and heated patio out the back, so sitting outside wouldn't have been an issue despite the weather."

"Eaten here so many times and always loved it but recently while dining here had an awful experience firstly was the waiter that answers the phone and seats you when you arrive (older gentleman with black hair quite tall) we were seated near the bar and herd him speaking with another member of staff in he’s native language thinking no one could understand him (I’m multi lingual) making very rude and disrespectful and sexist comments and remarks about a family on a table that he has seated. Later I found a piece of food prep plastic in my Main course, I quietly and politely made the waiter aware of this and he was so abrupt saying where I can’t see, that’s nothing just a tiny bit just take it off of the bowl!! I asked him to take the plate and could I have something else he took the plate and ignored me (same guy who was speaking about other guests earlier) didn’t get another main but when it came time for the bill the man hadn’t been removed but still paid for it as didn’t want the abrupt waiter to start shouting and make a scene in-front of all the other guests. Safe to say I won’t be returning more so over the actions of the waiter than the food, very very rude,disrespectful, abrupt and intimidating guy."

"I had visited The Juice Smith before when it was very busy, so this time I made a reservation for my wife and myself just after 9am on a Sunday morning. Luckily, the café was quiet when we arrived. The waitstaff were very helpful and recommended unique dishes on the menu. Based on their suggestion, I ordered the 'Potato hash brown, harissa sautéed kale, roasted rainbow peppers, plum tomato, and avocado' for £14.25, which was fresh, delicious, and filling. My wife had the 'Creamy oat porridge' for £9.50 and a side of sourdough toast with churned TJS butter and chia jam, all of which were highly recommended. The butter was exceptionally creamy and a must-try. The food was served promptly and presented beautifully. I highly recommend The Juice Smith and can't wait to return soon."
