We dined here with friends. The restaurant has a wide selection of choice. We opted for the set menu which offered, bread and aoili , a selection of five tapas, a very nice scallop dish topped with cheese, Lomo, dessert, wine/cerveza and coffee. The staff were very polite and friendly and the service they offered was good. The meal was 20 euros, which considering the volume and quality of food served and the drinks provided was good value. Pese a la variada oferta gastronómica de Almansa y teniendo en cuenta que hay competencia en el sector, no tanto en la gama media de precios, me decidí a comer al medio día el pasado jueves 7 de diciembre en este restaurante. Inclinado principalmente por la recomendación de los lugareños que tienen contacto con alguien muy cercano a mi. Sin duda es un sitio para comer relativamente bien en relación calidad precio. El personal es muy atento y rápido. Y los precios más que adecuados para lo que ofrecen. Que hay cosas mejores en Almansa, si. Pero pagas mucho más. Es cuestión de saber lo que quieres.

A tidy, clean and pretty friendly Spanish restaurant in the side streets of Almansa. Meals are typical Spanish leaning towards Valencia's specialities: paella, chorizo, jamon, good Spanish cheeses, fresh seafood, and gazpacho (not the cold tomato soup, but a hot, rich, stew based on chicken stock and unleavened bread). The wines are almost exclusively Spanish- good, reasonably priced, and usually produced close by in the Almansa area. A knowledge of Spanish is very helpful but you could probably manage with a few words...just be patient and take a good sense of humor! Price for a meal range from €10 to €15 per person including drinks....or more depending on how much you drink!

We were in Almansa and looking for a place to eat on a Monday night. Be aware that many restaurants don’t even open until 9pm, but that’s another review. We were looking for a place to eat and stopped in at the Los Cuchillos Restaurante on Del Campo Street. This was suggested by the hotel staff as a good place to eat. There were six of us and when we came in the host took us to a very nice dining area and took our orders. He spoke no English and our Spanish was non-existent. We managed to place our orders and all went well. The food was excellent and the local wine suggested by our host was very good.
