"I've eaten twice in Maison de Ville. It's a convenient place to eat because 1) it doesn't close between lunch dinner, 2) so far we have not had to make any reservations to get a table it's right across the public parking for when we go sledding so we just cross the roundabout for a meal. I remove one star because the pricing is a little high with ginormous servings, but it's embarrassing to order dish to split between 2 people. However if you want to get around this, order a salad for one person and a main dish. Then split both. What would be ideal is to have smaller plates cheaper prices for each. But for people who love huge servings... this place would be perfect. We enjoyed the Croûtes Au fromage, the salad, the fondue. Our friends enjoyed the Rosti Chicken Burger the raclette (which is a bit warm self service). For those who are new to Switzerland, the raclette fondue don't come with anything except bread and cheese. Not even paprika like in the German Christmas markets. My father in law was not impressed with his steak and fries I wasn't impressed with my cold cuts platter. Some were good and some were not great. For dessert we really enjoyed the COFFEE BREAK. It's a scoop of coffee ice cream, meringue a Nespresso. Kid-friendliness: For the kid's menu, my son loved the chicken fries and the macaroni with bolognese sauce lots of cheese. The servings are huge though... for a normal adult so expect to help or take away. The placemats for coloring keeps them busy for a while. The kids menu comes with a scoop of ice cream which the kids love of course."

Venue avec mes enfants manger de la viande sur ardoise et steak tartare au couteau. La viande fondante, service rapide sur une terrasse magnifique vue sur une Eglise et forêt, à l'arrière du restaurant. Des produits d'éleveurs du coin avec que des produits du terroir. Des vins des vignerons du coin. Avec plaisir reviendrai.

We ate the best burgers in this place, crispy potato rösti (hash browns) replaced the usual boring bread buns, and the fillings were scrumptious! The waiter was just lovely: the dessert I wanted was not available so he spontaneously served us teas and limoncello for free. He really deserved his tip Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Schöner Rösti-Burger, aber die Qualität des Specks (Schmalz von Begnins) ist nicht großartig, voller kleiner Knochen/Knorpel und unzureichend gekocht (der Kellner fragt nicht einmal, ob Sie ihn selten oder durchgebraten haben möchten, daher können wir uns nicht entscheiden, was wir noch nie in unserem Leben gesehen haben 30 CHF für so einen Burger sind zu teuer!!!
