Amazing service and fab food, set within a stunning building and decor. Never had a bad meal here, great place to relax and watch the world go by outside whilst you enjoy fine wines and tasty food. Nikos and his team are very attentive and always look after me and my guests. Highly recommend a visit.

All I can say is the people who wrote stinking reviews must have been really unlucky with their visit because we couldn’t fault it. Food at dinner and breakfast was faultless and the service was warm and attentive. Highly recommend the steaks cooked on the Josper grill. Beautiful restaurant too. Will visit again when next in town.

I had a wonderful evening at this restaurant with my business colleagues. The private dining room and service were excellent. The menu had a good variety of dishes, all of which were prepared and served flawlessly. My steak was amazing and the cheese board was one of the best I've ever had. Visited for drinks before dinner on saturday about 5pm. Were shown to a table/seat in the maison level. Ordered our drinks, they didn't come in 20min so we got up and left. Met the waiter coming up the stairs with them but too late..... We only ordered 2glasses of wine and the bar wasn't particularly busy. never return (you expect considerably better service at the prices they charge)

I had a bad experience at this restaurant a couple of years ago, so I haven't returned since. However, I decided to give it another chance while staying at the hotel. The service was excellent, with two young men running the dining room. The food was average, but the main course portion of salmon was very small. The first glass of wine was good, but the second glass was not chilled. They need to pay more attention to detail and address the portion sizes of the main courses.

My wife and I booked a meal via the date night deal £205 for a bottle of champagne, a nice room and a 3 course meal each. It sounded like a very tempting deal as our local malmaison in Aberdeen has an very nice restaurant with a good reputation. This reputation is sadly not repeated at Dundee. The meat in each of our meals was nice but all the sides and garnish for each meal were not nice whatsoever and really let the meal down. For the prices of the menu this is a huge letdown. Think Waitrose cost but Asda smart price taste. Will not return as I did not react well to re food and have been unwell since Speisekarte ansehen

We booked a two-night stay here for my 16th birthday and dined at the restaurant both nights. It was a luxurious experience! All the dishes were perfectly portioned: satisfying, but not too much that we couldn't enjoy dessert because, let's face it, dessert is the most important meal of the day, right? The scallops, although not photographed, were divine - juicy, sweet, and cooked to perfection with a delicious sweet squirrel/chorizo sauce. The chickpea and red pepper bean burger was incredibly delicious - crispy buns, fresh vegetables, and homemade chips, what more could we ask for? The red pepper and mozzarella linguini was fresh and out of this world, yet still light and flavorful.

Visited for drinks on Friday afternoon. Went to the bar to order drinks but were told to take a seat and someone would take our order. We found a table upstairs and waited...but no member of staff appeared. My partner went back down to the bar to say we were still waiting and gave the member of staff our drinks order. A beer and a vodka. Sat for a further 10 minutes....but no drinks arrived. The table next to us had the same issue and left wishing us 'good luck getting a drink ' as they departed. We waited another 5 minutes then got up and left also. Terrible service! They bar wasn 't even that busy. Get your act together Malmaison as we 've never experienced such bad service in a bar. We received a £50.00 voucher as a Christmas gift and finally were able to use it today. We had been to this restaurant before, but this time was different. We were greeted with a smile and the food was excellent, except for some tough beef that was difficult to chew. Overall, the flavors were great and there was too much food to finish, so we happily had the leftovers boxed up to take home. The service was outstanding, with lots of smiles from the staff. Even when the waitresses finished their shift, they were replaced by two gentlemen who provided great service with smiles as well. It was hard to find anything wrong with our experience today, except for the rainy and cold weather as we left... Speisekarte ansehen
