Se ci si trova a Brunate per visitare l’incantevole faro sul lago di Como, é obbligatoria una tappa presso il Cafè Bistrò MamaGina. Ampia terrazza esterna con una vista incredibile sul lago. Ottimi Spritz (se pur serviti senza stuzzichini). Personale gentile. Il Posto merita tanto. Consigliato

Today I went to Mama Gina to taste their menu based on brunate onion. Spectacular. I started with an onion and porcini mushroom soup with an ancient flavour, then I took a strozzapreti with onion and veal sauce cut with a sublime knife, and finally salami with polenta and onions. Attracted by the reviews I decided to have lunch in this restaurant, it was not what I expected. The environment wants to seem refined, but in reality it appears cold. Mediocre food quality, high prices for what is offered. Absurd wine prices, a bottle of Inferno €55, I'm still laughing!
