Manfred Cafe Restaurant

We had a simple cafe lunch and enjoyed our spot in the window. Food was good, service good enough. They have a buffet brunch on weekends. Very popular at happy hour.

Ce lieu possède toutes les caractéristiques d'une brasserie parisienne, sans être un attrape touriste. Le service est correct et la qualité des plats largement supérieur à la moyenne. Au final, le Manfred dispose d'un bon rapport qualité/prix (y compris pour le vin).

Cheeseburger correct sans plus… service décontracté, sans doute un peu trop… sans le sourire, en tout cas.Quant au vin en carafe, il était imbuvable. Pour la serveuse, qui l’a testé, il était “un peu âpre”… elle l’a remplacé par un vin qui avait été “un peu moins au soleil, peut-être”…Ensemble moyen et assez peu professionnel. Je n’y retournerai probablement pas.

Wir haben hier mehrfach gegessen, da direkt in der Nähe gewohnt. Alles war gut und günstig (für Paris). Zudem hat das Manfred eine gute Lage, man kann alles was/wer vorbei kommt checken . Es ist aber kein Restaurant um sich gemütlich zurückzuziehen, hier ist es laut und ein Kommen und Gehen. Das Lammcarrée von der Tageskarte war tadellos, die Burger ebenso, der Service einwandfrei.

A fuir ! Accueil glacial, serveur avec une incompétence au possible, en plus d'être très désagréable. Ni pro, tenu vestimentaire limite "93". language familier. Aussi, ne déjeuner pas après 14h. Y a plus rien, en plus d'avoir la soupe à la grimace. Le personnel devrait se reconvertir dans la fonction publique, vu l'amabilité du service client. Bref, fuyez.....ce que nous avons fait après s'être installé 7 minutes.

I had breakfast here a few times on my recent trip to Paris. Its petit dejourner is cheaper than some of the others around and the location is good for people watching. There are quite a few choices for breakfast too scrambled eggs, eggs benedict, different pastries and tartines etc. I didn't have it but I also heard really good things about their Sunday brunch. I would say service is a little on the slow side and it takes a while to get noticed, served and then pay again at the end.

First impressions are everything, especially when one is bilingual and has just arrived after a day of travel on a Sunday. I selected this place because it was close to where I was staying, was rated fairly highly and was one of the few restaurants open on a Sunday in which I didn't have far to walk. When I finally found the place, the host was speaking to someone in French about something and took him a while to notice my presence. When he finally acknowledged my presence, he insisted on speaking to me in English, even though I kept answering him in fluent French. I found this behavior extremely insensitive and rude, especially after a long day. My waiter somewhat redeemed my experience wit...

Manfred is an excellent café-restaurant on Rue Réaumur that offers a superb range of food and drink 's and is in an excellent area of Paris where there are many places to go to. This is a brilliant café-restaurant that has a spacious airy interior with many interesting fixtures and features.With fantastic seating area 's throughout the whole interior and a superb outside terrace 'it 's a brilliant place to relax and unwind with a few drinks or an excellent meal. We had visited a couple of café 's and bars around this area of Paris but I must say this was one of the best.We had just been to an excellent place called Social Square which was brilliant and decided to go here for an excellent dri...

Exploring around the wonderful 3rd Arrondissement my twin brother Stephen and I dropped into Manfred Cafe and what a great find. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here ,the interior is superb ,a great looking serving bar ,opulent decor and furnishings and lots of seating options both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling streets around this cafe bar. We were here on a Thursday evening ,we sat near the serving bar were we ordered a ricard drink each ,served in no time at all ,we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular cafe bar. A big fan of this famous French pastis,this is a strong ,liquorice flavoured aperitif ,best diluted with water...
