My opinion may be biased because I lived in Japan for 15 years. I was not satisfied with the food. We ordered Udon and it had no flavor at all.

All the food prepared to order, fresh. Ample menu. Not pretending to be the top sushi bar in the city, turned out to be much better than I expected.

Matsudo is a charm. It is a lovely, quite place to have a great meal. Try the dumplings, or raviolis as they are called in Paris. They are the best I've ever had.

Great nigiri and rolls. Stopped in here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the fresh fish, the overall quality and the very friendly service! Would recommend as a solid sushi spot.

Sweet inconvenient place. We stopped for a quick bite. The service was great and what we ordered exceeded our expectations. Portions for the heel hand roll were exceptional. The katsu dishes were both delicious.

I didn't give Matsudo much of a challenge as I ordered a set plate of gyoza and a California roll. Both were okay. The accompanying soup was uninteresting, but the salad was excellent. Service was good. For Paris, this place was a relative bargain. There may be better food here if you are more adventuresome than I was on that evening. Quiet atmosphere, which is good or bad depending on your taste. I felt quite comfortable as a single diner who only spoke English.

There is much to choose from in this lively part of the city. This restaurant offered a reasonable wide selection of food. Among the family, we ordered a combination of sushi, sashimi, gyozas, curried chicken either meat or salmons skewers, as well as miso soup and salad. All were good choices. I thought the sushi and sashimi options were considerably better than the skewers, but that may simply be a matter of taste. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable (

The Matsudo Japanese Restaurant in the heart of the Latin Quarter, Paris France is a quiet tranquil oasis. Step away from the busy crowded streets into a peaceful Asian atmosphere with clean fresh deco. As you enter you will be greeted with a smile and seated promptly. The server offers drinks, starters and a menu with generous selections all at an affordable price. I won't speak on the authenticity of the food as I am no expert. But I will say that all the dishes that we have ordered are simply delicious and won't break the bank. This is the type of restaurant you look for when away from home that offers good consistently prepared healthy foods in a clean environment. Cozy & Romantic tables...
