Absolutely worth the half hour journey from Yeovil to go here. Service was lovely and personal. Food was first class. Location is cosy. Just make sure to read the weekly menu before you go and pick the best menu to suit you. Excellent.

finding a place like matte kitchen is a godsend. good food, good service and good price. matt takes the time to welcome all diner, presents every cure to each table and shows that he and the staff really care. what is more he is a slough lad. “done good’. cannot say enough good words about the restaurant. take time to visit as they will not regret it.

we chose this restaurant on the basis of great reviews and they were right. it was really excellent with good quality eating, a beautifully balanced menu, fun cozy environment and really good service. the culinary experience surpassed many more expensive and excellent restaurants. matt made the...output to explain every cursor and made sure that he took time to talk to all the guests.
