Midsummer House - Speisekarte

I booked for my partners 40th today and it was perfect. The staff and food were faultless. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, the restaurant was intimate and yet spacious and the service was impeccable from the second we walked through the door. This won't be our last visit. Thank you all for making today so wonderful.

it was easy at the Midsummer House too midday and it was really amazing. had the taste menu and weeping and I can not speak very enough of eating and service. certainly the best restaurant I have ever visited. all about the mid-summer house is the first class. everyone. should visit this restaurant if they love to eat it and appreciate fine wine and service. it is really an amazing experience.

finishing the course set menu with snacks and petit fours, accompanied by the wein pairings was fantastic. every cure was presented beautifully, required a high level of skill and technology to produce and beyond was delicious. the service was exceptionally smooth and...professional the wine pairing was a perfect companion to eat. all in all a food experience that will live in memory for a long time. My wife and I visited this restaurant and we were both blown away at the level of service and fantastic experience we had. The team were very helpful, friendly and knowledgable. The food was outstanding and beautifully presented. You can tell a lot of thought...has been given to creating the menus and each dish was like a work of art. Thank you to the team for a wonderful time and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

my man brought me here for the birthday. the whole evening was amazing. we had the tasting menu with paired crying. the food was from this world. the weeping were extraordinary. the service was error-free. the love for detail was amazing, even until the birthday card, and the carrot cakes we were presented as we were gone. it's a birthday present I'll remember for years. thanks to all those who made our night so unforgettable.

it was okay, the experience felt a little flat. nothing was personalized, eating was introduced in a script like a kind and wise. After I was in a handful of restaurants with a Michelin star, I expected to choose more and specifically this place, as it is the closest. norwich with two stars. beautiful place, glass crawl at the arrival is a great note. canapés looked better than they tasted. the bark shell and the selection of the four were the melt in the mouth highlights. will be back. My wife and I had the privilege of eating the tasting menu at the Midsummer House restaurant as a birthday treat. It was an extraordinary experience from the wonderful greeting on arrival to the very end. I can honestly say that we have never tasted...food of such quality and variety, with every one of the courses being utterly memorable. My wife and I tried to decide which was our favourite course but found it impossible to choose. Of course, it is one thing to have quality food in such impressive surroundings, but the service from Molly and her team was magnificent. Second time here, and wow have things changed. The range of dishes on the tasting menu is superb and the cooking is faultless. The ingredients are all of exceptional high quality, although it does tend to be a little repetitive (too much liver (for my...wife) too much caviar (if there can be such a thing again according to my wife). But everything was about flavour and ingredients. I personally would appreciate more challenging and more impactful ingredients. If we had one minor criticism of the food it would be the unadventurous main of beef fillet. Yes it a beautiful piece of beef, fantastically cooked.....but i would like to see more adventure, more challenge in the main dish it was nice,...

I’m not usually one to write reviews, but the experience we had at Midsummer house compelled me to write something. What an incredible restaurant. I’m honestly baffled at how anyone could write a negative review about this place. I’m sitting here tonight feeling jealous of...the people who are there right now savouring the absolute delights of the tasting menu we had yesterday. My partner and I have been lucky enough to enjoy quite a few Michelin star restaurants, with Le Manoir/Sat Baines being firm faves. Midsummer house however, blows them all out the water.
