"I don't usually leave comments on reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience this time. I had a reservation and arrived 15 minutes early, but the food was disappointing at best. I ordered venison, while my partner chose sea bass with samphire and roast potatoes. Unfortunately, neither dish met our expectations. The venison was tough and bleeding onto the plate, while the sweet potato mash was lumpy and lacked flavor. My partner's sea bass was soggy and undercooked, the samphire had completely lost its flavor and was overcooked, and the roast potatoes were burnt. We waited nearly 50 minutes to be served, and I felt really sorry for the waitress, who had to apologize four times for the delays, even though there were only six patrons dining, four of whom were already having desserts. I had read previous reviews before going and was expecting a much better experience."

I had read previous reviews before our visit and had expected much better.

If you're staying at the hotel, I would strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. It took an hour for our starters to arrive, and the food was cold, bland, and overpriced. When we voiced our complaints, we were ignored, and not once did a waiter check on us during our visit. After 2 hours, I had to get up and order a drink from the guy at the register. The £16.95 chicken parmesan looked more like a low-quality chicken escalope with some dry Parma ham and a bit of tomato puree on top. The place is severely understaffed, so I would recommend looking elsewhere.
