"Visited here for Friday night dinner with friends. Hadn't been for a while and was delighted with the meal we were served. Really tasty and a nice selection on the menu to choose from. My husband and I shared the Nacho platter as a starter, our friends had Salted Chilli Squid and a Goat's Cheese fritter. The four of us settled on the Chef's recommendation for Mains which was fresh tender handmade Chicken Goujons served on a bed of Noodles and Vegetables with a Satay broth. No room for dessert this time! Really really good. The BYO is a bonus . Will definitely return soon. The place was buzzing and had a nice ambiance."

Never disappoints. Lovely Falafel and beetroot salad for me and burrito for hubby. Lemon meringue with fruit compote finished off another excellent lunch.

Had some their home made waffles (you never see homemade waffles this side of the pond! with bacon and egg. Delicious! Friendly service too, would recommend. Lovely outdoor seating in the courtyard. Loved it!

The food was of excellent quality and the service was 1st class. Selection of dishes was adequate and fresh produce was an added incentive. However, the desserts were disappointing. Well done, we will be back soon.

Really nice visit to Mill Farm Deli on Saturday morning. We had the falafel, the seafood chowder and the prawn and chorizo salad. Everything very tasty. Just one slight downside was that the seafood chowder was curry based, which was a first for us, but...

Visited here with friends in May when we could only eat outside. Fortunately the weather was clement and we enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine. The surroundings are lovely and the staff are excellent. There was quite a buzz about the place. The food was...

Very basic menu and not to choose from. Had the waffles and maple syrup which was nice but not enough syrup which is needed as the waffles were very dry. Also there was one person who could with a bit of customer service as he slammed our coffees down on the table and overall gave off the demeanor of having a bad day.Dont think we will be rushing back

Disappointing for a place well reviewed in the past. Menu’s good and the building and surroundings excellent. Alas the ingredients are very very cheap, hardly quality and some of the food dried out and clearly pre prepared and left to patch under a heat lamp. Staff aren’t familiar with please or thank you but to be fair it’s a warm day. Although the gentleman server clearly doesn’t want to be here or communicate food is laid down and he walks away. All in all I would come back but work to do..

"Without a doubt the worst experience we have ever had. Pre booked a table for 5 for dinner on Saturday evening and when we arrived they didn't seem that busy. We were shown to our table relatively quick. We then had to sit there for around 20 minutes until someone came to take our food order. I was a bit surprised that there was only 2 steaks on the menu unless you gave 24hr notice. We then had to ask could we order a drink. It wasn't a difficult order 1 beer and 4 Fanta. We waited a further 15 for the drinks to come which were wrong also the glasses were disgusting with lipstick and previous drink residue on them.we eventually got all that sorted and the food came. I had ordered a mixed grill which was £28 I asked for my steak to be cooked medium. The plates were literally just in front of us 2 minutes when a waitress came and asked was everything OK. As I began to work my way through the food I eventually got to the 8oz steak which was very well done and extremely hard to chew so it was left. When everyone had finished they came to clear the plates and I told the waitress that I had asked for medium and not well done and to my surprise she immediately got on the defensive asking did someone come and see if everything was OK I told her yes but it was just after the food was brought. 2 minutes later the owner of the place came out of the kitchen with my steak on a small plate and proceeded to tell me I was wrong and that that's the way a medium steak should look but there was not even a slight tinge of pink. He then started to tell me that I didn't know how steak was cooked. I then mentioned the glasses and he said didn't they get replaced so what's the problem. At this point t my kids were getting pretty upset so I just asked for the bill so we could leave. To be honest it was very intimidating to have a well over 6ft man stand over you arguing over a piece of steak. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone."

"Where to begin? Our mother decided to “treat” myself and my sister to lunch. However, soon our joy turned into laughter, and then to severe disappointment. My sister and I shared a “panini” of bacon, Brie and cranberry sauce. Firstly, the “panini” was a baguette...which had been seared then microwaved. The bacon was the best bit, yet had clearly reheated in a microwave. The Brie, was next to non-existent. The cranberry sauce, oh my goodness it was atrocious. Our “panini” was not a generous size for a grand price of half of which was filled with psychedelic blood-like sugary cranberry sauce (with giant chunks of cranberry). First when my sister took a bite I thought she was over exaggerating, for I had not tasted the cranberry sauce yet, it was upon my second bite the true horror of the “panini” had come to fruition. Picture this, expecting to have a bite of creamy Brie, crispy bacon, and tart cranberry sauce, and then instead being met with a taste that resembled sweetened jelly powder. I tried to convince myself that my tastebuds were deceiving me I fought through the overwhelming taste of sweeties, to attempt to taste the Brie, which in fact I couldn’t find. The bacon flavour barely made it through and the bread was more a sponge for soaking up the cranberry sauce. As you can see from the photo provided, in order to make some attempt at finishing the “panini”, my sister and I had to dissect it and surgically remove what looked like blood clots cranberries. To add to this horror, there was but a sad pile of coleslaw, apparently a pile of crinkle-cut crisps it wasn’t even to my surprise at this point that there was one solitary crinkle-cut crisp among a variety of other flavoured basic crisps. To top this all off, our mother bravely tried the pink foam substance (we still aren’t sure what it was) and she had to immediately reach for her glass of water to wash away the taste. This experience produced within us both feelings of guilt and shame. Guilt, because our mother (who rarely eats out) was attempting to “treat” us to brunch. She felt guilty at inflicting such a disastrous “panini” on us as a “treat”. Shame, because we are the type of family who NEVER leave food on our plates, yet we were so embarrassed about how it looked like we barely ate anything at all, so we quickly made an exit. In conclusion, the hot food needs serious reform. On a positive note, the staff seemed friendly."
