The food is appalling. Frozen, grey burger patties on stale bread. The smell from the meat was unbearable. Everything was sent back without even taking a bite.

We had the traditional fish and chips large portion which was hard to finish as there was more than enough. Foreign waitress was very polite and helpful. Overall an enjoyable place to eat.

We stopped at this restaurant after visiting the British Museum. There were 10 of us and we enjoyed a delicious fish and chips dish. The shepherd's pie was also beautifully served with fresh chips. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

This is a bit of a tourist trap. Just opposite the British Museum. Fish and chips is advertised outside for £10. You have to specifically ask for that deal or you will be given a more expensive dish at £15-ish. A small glass of house wine is almost £13 and a bottle of beer £8.50. I worked in the early 70s for henry when he had the 3 stores in carnarby st and the camp. the showroom was in gt portland st. it was a wonderful job. I remember henry in his white jaguar from carnarby st to showroom in gt portland st. back and forth. I remember the personal faces, but I can't remember the names. I remember going to his house in hampstead for a party. I'd like to meet henry and talk about old times. he was an excellent boss.
