New Golden Dragon - Speisekarte

Called in on the off chance as the other Chinese take away was closed, so glad we did, the food was excellent and really good value, good sized portions, so some Chinese for breakfast.

Could not eat my takeout only had pie&chips pie was as solid as a brick and the chips don’t know where to start. Shall not be returning don’t know if it’s changed management nether had a problem before

Have tried several different chinese meals here. Whilst the food is tasty, the meat element is inedible. We have tried chicken, beef and pork, all have the same cardboardy stale consistency and taste. Such a shame as the rest of the meal is fine Speisekarte ansehen

Called in for some chips. Social distancing effective but the chips were horrible. They were anaemic, tasteless and barely cooked. They obviously use the wrong variety of potato and fry them for half the time they should. Their Chinese is average but I won't be...ordering chips again. The dog ate them.

Ordered roast duck with plum sauce it was horrid the fat on the duck hadn’t been rendered down at all it was very sloppy! The meat itself was fine- the sauce was like water! Plum sauce should be thick and unctuous! I think Gok...Wan should do a Goks kitchen nightmare cause he would be shocked at the food we are served!

Ordered a take away last night at got it home and dished up, the chips were uncooked the beef curry was so bland and tasteless that it went in the bit. My boys had sweet and sour chicken and they said it didnt taste...nice, so i had a go and there was something wrong with it and that to went in the bit. This was my third vist since october and everytime there has been an issue with the quality of the food! This used to be the best takeaway in town but since the change of hands its hit rock bottom On each occasion there has...been a dish that's been inedible and we spend aporox EACH VISIT, this visit was the last time i will purchase a takeaway from this establishment. Front of house staff are very polite but that is the only positive thing i have to say.

Usually the food is pretty good here and over the last years we have been getting the occasional takeaway from here and it's never been terrible* but once every orders we would get a slightly below par meal. We ordered from Chopsticks when...we didn't want to collect the food as New Golden Dragon don't deliver and the food was incredible from there but we tried the New Golden Dragon again last week and it was awful. The chicken chow mein tasted like disinfectant, it was as if they'd used washing up liquid instead of soy sauce! The rice was soggy, the chips were soggy, the chicken balls were rock hard and only decent thing was the bag of prawn crackers. I don't mind having an ok takeaway, one...

I have two big problems with this takeaway based on my experience today Firstly, some of us still take Covid seriously and if you believe this takeaway, according to their hand written sign they only allow two people in at a time. Not when I...was there. people and not a word said, no social distance reprimand given, they only interested in the money they can get for their slop (sorry food) That's the second point. When you pay over your harder to get money, you may be forgiven for expecting a fresh meal, unless going to a JD.
