Excellent Sunday afternoon lunch! Well-prepared and tasty. The house white wine is very nice and quite inexepensive.

Great place to relax in the afternoon; quiet street, great cuisine. Only downside was that they didn’t had starters at 2pm.

A brief but delicious. menu. Perfectly sized portions. Gentle and professional service. We opted for a table inside rather than the terrace: too hot for lunch outside since it is in direct sunlight. Owner and waiters made us feel welcomed straight away and immediately brought a bowl of water for our dog without being asked. Bravo! Excellent price as expected (around 90 euros for 3 people a la carte). New Ground is a slightly modern restaurant in the historic centre of Avignon. It has a small terrace, not as nice as that of the squares around as you are on a shopping street and spends enough people to go shopping. But the room is fine.
