The food at NUR is delicious and the service is excellent. The owner provided us with information on all of the Armenian dishes and gave us top-notch service. I highly recommend this restaurant for a lovely evening out.

Went here on a Thursday evening which happened to be a live music night. Very warm welcome and a really nice atmosphere. The food was amazing but what was a real surprise was how good the musicians where in fact we stayed most of the evening and enjoyed a really nice home made apple cake. Would highly recommend this place good food and drinks

What a place! Fatastic food, beautiful decor, friendly staff, cheerful proprieter, art gallery on walls and those Thursday jazz evenings! Unforgetable experience. And if you have some special dietary requirements, don’t be shy – just mention them and the chef will come up with a few suggestions to make sure that there is no need to compromise on taste and quality. Hastings is really lucky to have NUR.

This is a most excellent restaurant. Lovely atmosphere, great food and gorgeous decor. Me and my partner visited for a lunchtime meal, and were very impressed. The lunchtime menu was delicious, and very reasonably priced, and we had a superb Armenian wine. Also, the staff, Rosanne and Iona, were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We will defiantly be going back soon, and will be recommending NUR to everyone. Thanks for a very pleasant lunchtime.

Trying Armenian cuisine for the first time was a delightful experience for our group of six, including a vegan. The food was well-prepared and delicious, with each dish selected from the menu being a hit. The owner provided us with information about the ingredients and flavors, as well as helpful recommendations. The restaurant is elegantly decorated with captivating artwork on the walls and comfortable, colorful furniture. A visit to this place is a must when in Hastings.

I recently discovered a hidden gem in this restaurant. The staff and owners were incredibly friendly and provided a welcoming atmosphere. The food was not only delicious but also reasonably priced. The female owner did a fantastic job pairing the dishes with the perfect wine, and they also had a great selection of beers. On Thursday evenings, they host a fantastic jazz club with talented musicians and special guest artists. Plus, the chairs were super comfortable. Overall, a wonderful experience!
