Wow! Absolutely amazing food and drink. Went to a works party to celebrate. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food amazing. Definitely would recommend and will try again

fabulous meal, once again, with exemplary service as usual x we almost had to cancel tonight because of the weather, but even the car from lincoln to alford in a blizzard was worth eating so fantastic!

This was our first time at The Old Bakery which was a Christmas gift from our son and daughter in law and we must say we loved all the courses of both food and the wine on the taster menu and we would highly recommend it to any looking for excellence.

our second visit in this restaurant, we also booked a room and saved a taxi ride to the house. both eating and service are amazing, we had the 5-course taste menu with the delicious weeps for a birthday contract. would be highly recommended for a special occasion.

we had a wonderful visit to the old bakery.for one night with the taster menu.so much care and thought goes into everything they do. from the superb quality of the food to the delightful room we were put in even to the knowledge of their waiting staff. we would not hesitate to return if we get half a chance. we visited this weekend the old bakery restaurant in lincoln. it was the first time that we had experienced to taste a 5-course-show menu and it was excellent. from the friendliness of the staff to the excellent food and the accommodation was all the first class! the menu was very well explained by their very knowledgeable staff and the service was great. the accommodation was clean and tidy. I would be happy to visit the old bakery restaurant again, and I would seriously recommend that they go and experience the best we did. you will not regret it!

My husband and myself were brought a couples experience voucher for Christmas, after much searching we decided as neither of us had visited Lincoln before, we'd redeem our voucher for bed and breakfast at The Old Bakery. It is a quaint little place, with small but adequate rooms. We both enjoyed our overnight stay and slept very well. In the morning we headed down for breakfast where we were greeted by a friendly chef. The breakfast we both had was delicious and we would definitely recommend this well placed restaurant and small hotel to anyone visiting Lincoln for a weekend break

Now, what can I say that this is by far my favorite restaurant where I have ever eaten, the personal is always friendly but not hanging around you, as in many other institutions, they seem to know if you want to serve and if you don't want it! the sunday dinner is not only fantastic price-performance ratio, but the menu changes quickly so that they never know what they will eat, so if they are frequent customers like me, they are not with just a boring menu stuck, it is also great because they have a chance to taste food that they would probably not try anywhere else and I have never had a bad meal there!
