Old Town Chinese Restuarant

The food was great, but it was too noisy to have a conversation. I believe it's due to the high ceilings.

By far the best Chinese restaurant in Hertfordshire. Food is served very quickly and is freshly cooked and always nice and hot. The chilli beef is amazing.

The portions where incredibly small for such high prices not to mention very rude and incompetent servers. if you want to keep your money and get full i suggest staying away from here. Speisekarte ansehen

We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant tonight. The friendly welcome continued throughout the evening. The food was excellent with a great selection to choose from and all dishes were served hot. I can't wait to go back again.

Lovely vegetarian spring rolls, but all food good. It was very quiet when we visited (5.30 pm on a Tuesday evening) so not much atmosphere. It is probably very different at 8pm on a Saturday evening. Wonderful place!! Best Chinese in Stevenage, I always order from this place and went to pick up my takeout from them recently. The lady was so lovely! The food was extra tasty and not too oily, I got the chicken chow mein, so lovely! The only negative would be that there was not much chicken in one of my takeouts. We visited Sunday at 5pm. We had a fabulous meal, the food is amazing. Despite there being a large birthday party of 30 as well, we didn't have to wait long for our food and the staff kept us informed about our meals and looked after us superbly. It was my birthday and they gave me a surprise box of chocolates to celebrate, a lovely gesture. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough, best Chinese for miles around and staff fantastic, we shall be back again

I have been to this place twice now and I think it’s really good. The dishes are well presented and tasty. Not overly covered in sauce like some other places. The quality of the meat and fish is good and the service is great. It’s been fairly full with couples and large groups when I’ve been in. Few things I’d like to see on the menu like soft shell crab and kung po prawn (only chicken and beef options) but honestly this place is great. Decent value too. Would go again.

10 of us went for a birthday dinner. We were put on 2 round tables pushed together, which was weird. There were plenty of available rectangular tables that could have been pushed together and there was only one other booking in the restaurant so I'm not sure why they did that. I was on the bit kind of between the 2 tables so I chose 1 but then almost had my back to most people on the other table. We all choose the buffet menu which included 3 starters each, Peking duck or lamb and 2 main dishes each. We could have ordered more dishes, free of charge, but only if we finished all the dishes on the table. The food was amazing, hence the 4 stars even though the table lay out was not the best and...
