Osteria La Lanterna

This restaurant is a pearl of Lake Lugano. The food is fantastic, super tasty and beautifully decorated. Staff are very friendly and make guests very welcome. I recommend it to everyone.

Ristorante semplice, genuino e molto simpatico. I piatti una meraviglia; abbiamo mangiato veramente bene. I collaboratori molto carini, in particolare Massimo. Grazie per una serata da ricordare.

Very nice and cozy place. The food was amazing! We arrived near to close the kitchen, and we were offered to chose between only too dishes of pasta that resulted in the best pasta I’ve ever eaten! All the personel, the waiter, chef etc… were extremly kind! Definetively I’ll try come to back!!

Ci siamo trovati benissimo, le pietanze erano ottime. Una menzione particolare ai camerieri per l'ottimo servizio e la cordialità riservataci! Ambiente accogliente e familiare, la Chef ha voluto conoscerci, salutarci e ringraziarci personalmente. Prezzo assolutamente in linea con la qualità offerta. Torneremo sicuramente!

Un piccolo ed accogliente ristorante sul lago di Lugano. Cibo ottimo, piatti alla vista bellissimi, ingredienti freschi. Pamela la cuoca nonché proprietaria è davvero da stella michelin. Siamo partiti da Menaggio e in bici abbiamo fatto una gita fantastica durata tutta la giornata… abbiamo toccato 3 laghi. Poi su suggerimento di chi ci ha affittato le bici ci siamo fermati in questo posto, che dire. Personale fantastico disponibile e gentile, e poi gli spaghetti al pomodoro, uno spettacolo…. Complimenti sinceri … nn siamo di strada ma se dovessimo passare qualche volta da quelle parti ci fermeremo di sicuro

This restaurant is one of the region's hidden gems. I have been every time that I visit the area and it NEVER disappoints. The setting is delightful, the decor is beautiful and the food is simply divine a real work of art. Chef and owner, Pamela, is one of the most passionate and talented chef's I've come across and her team is so welcoming, friendly and professional. I would have taken pictures of the dishes that we had, but we were all just far too busy tucking in and enjoying it! NOT TO BE MISSED!!!!

Simply excellent. From start to end everything was perfect. We were visiting Lugano lake with family and had the luck to discover this very nice small restaurant.everything from the food to the service was superb. They were very friendly with our 2 year old and also had a very nice children’s menu. We had one Antipasti (asparagus with fried egg yellow and local trout, simply to die for), one first course (trofie with goat cheese and bottarga), two mains (capretto with artichokes and potatoes, my husband loved it) and a delicious fish.
