Boy's night out with my sons, we had the fabulous Tomahawk Steak. Fillet, ribeye and rump all on the bone with chunky chips, salad, mushrooms, tomato and onion rings. All cooked expertly to perfection. Fabulous evening with great attentive service. Finished up with Churros and ice cream sundae. Excellent food! Speisekarte ansehen

My partner and I enjoyed a delicious 2-course meal. A varied menu with vegan options including dessert. I can highly recommend the Vegan Burger whilst my partner thoroughly enjoyed his Haggis which was advertised on the specials board. Nothing was too much trouble and the young lady who served us, was incredibly polite, attentive and very personable. We will definitely visit again soon.

Fantastic Food, Brilliant Beers and a Wonderful Welcome! We've lived nearby for many years, but only first visited this pub a year ago... we've been missing out! I'm not sure if there has been a change of ownership recently, but the current landlady is brilliant. Food, service, beers all excellent and reasonably priced £10-£15 meal, £3-5 beers . Dogs welcome, with tasty kitchen offcuts for lucky dogs. Nice walk by the river too! Highly recommend to everyone :

This place consistently serves food of a high standard. And they serve real ales on pumps. Tried the Sunday carvery this time. 5 different meats all fantastic. Spoilt for choice on sides crisp on the outside Yorkshires, not overpowering herby balls, fresh and sweet braised red cabbage, boiled new potatoes, chunky roasties, tender fresh peas& broad beans, sweet carrot batons, not mushy broccoli florets and cheesy flavoursome cauliflower cheese. The lovely man who served at the carvery took the time to explain to us the seasonality of the vegetables on the side and prides themselves on the ingredients being from local farms.
