"During our 2-night break, we requested a ground floor room and were upgraded to the York Suite. The decor was lovely and the view from the window was stunning. Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were fantastic with a lot of variety (the best roasted bread ever!). Our dinner experience was also great with plenty of choices. Our dessert, lemon balm with ice cream, was extremely delicious and also very reasonably priced. We highly recommend this restaurant. The only issue was that I would have preferred a shower cabin due to my mobility issues instead of showering over the bath. However, this did not detract from our overall experience. It would be beneficial if they could make the ground floor rooms more disabled-friendly, especially since they already have a ramp to the door."

Stayed here for 3 nights the staff were really friendly and lovely very obliging. If there was a fault breakfast on 2 mornings was luke warm thought on the 3 morning the breakfast was lovely and hot

Tried 2 for £20 Friday, Great value for money, service was ok till we asked for a takeaway box. We were given a piece of tin foil and left to do it at the table. Very unprofessional and embarrassing

lovely hotel staff are fabulous and nothing is to much trouble the food in the bar and in the restaurant was lovely and breakfast was amazing great value and super location right on the sea front. we will be back again.

This small hotel is amazing. The staff is fantastic, the price is reasonable, and the double room is spacious. The bathroom could use a little cleaning, but it's quite large. Located right by the sea, the view is beautiful.

Saturday evening with friends. our room was wonderful, we couldn't fail anything, so light and spacious, immaculate clean and a beautiful sea view. the breakfast was first class and the personal friendly, cheerful and efficient. excellent value for money. and efficient.

Brilliant Homely hotel. Stayed here for 7 nights with work. We usually stay in Premier Inns, but this was a nice change. Really nice and down to earth people instead of corporate branded robots. Only deducted one star because the hot water went off one night through a fault

The fixtures, fittings, and linen in our room were in need of some TLC, but our stay was otherwise spot on. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the hotel is perfectly positioned on Redcar front. We ended up skipping breakfast due to being too short on time, but a couple we spoke to who had had the breakfast said it was excellent.

Went for Sunday lunch today,as ever the food was delicious ,the chef chatted as he carved our meat and the young lads and lasses who were waiting were polite and courteous,however as had happened before when you go to pay the lady on the till says how much the meal cost and no please then when you pay there's no thankyou and even when you put in the tip box still no thankyou ,nothing ,and this has happened before with the same person ,ignorant
