"what a wonderful lunch experience. This restaurant is a great asset to Weymouth. I do hope people make the effort to go (parking, or rather lack of, could be problamatic) It's really isn't too far to walk, either from town, or if you find parking in one of the side streets. You will be well rewarded for your effort. Delicious buffet. A wide variety of meat is brought, on enormous skewers, to your table and then slices are carved off. All the meat was so tender and tasty, and absolutely mouth watering. Delicious."

"Unfortunately we couldn't try the lunch at the HiVe as we were only passing through Weymouth before our hikes. Luckily, one day we got back just before closing time so we could still enjoy a cake. We regretted not postponing lunch till we got here because it looked amazing. On the other hand, opening hours are limited and we didn't want to risk to arrive in a sold out or closed restaurant. People arriving after us, right at 3pm (closing time), were still able to order lunch. Vegan and gluten free items are clearly indicated. Our vegan berry cheesecake and flapjack were both delicious. The have a cosy seating area, also outside where we enjoyed our post-hike treat."

"From the moment we walked through the door the service was perfect; attentive without being intrusive. Hannah made us feel very welcome and explained how the menu worked clearly including which fish were available that day. We came for my mum’s birthday lunch and everyone left extremely happy with their meals. I had the Dover sole which was delicious, the best I have had, my cousin said the same about the Plaice. And my mum tried Gurnard for the first time and was very impressed with how good it tasted. We shared starters including oysters the scallops; fresh a good choice to wet the appetite."

"What a fantastic experience! The food was delicious, with incredible flavors and perfect preparation. The service was excellent—very friendly and attentive. When I requested non-alcoholic beer and they didn’t have any available, they went out and bought some for me. While the beer wasn’t as impressive as the food, my overall experience was still great. Definitely worth a visit—make sure to try the scallops!"

"Unfortunately I booked a table for 7pm on a Friday evening, not realising the restaurant would be completely full. Service was very quick, we finished the main course, the plates were cleared and we were looking forward to dessert and coffee. I guess they must have had people waiting for our table because instead of being asked if we would like anything else, we were immediately presented with the bill. When I say immediately I mean less than a minute after the plates were cleared. To say we felt a little rushed is an understatement, so we finished our drinks and left"
