"Went for evening meal based on this being the number one spot in Montgenevre and seemed to be the only restaurant open in town that had Tartiflette on the menu. Nice welcome although we were sat right next to another table when there were other free tables around that were not reserved. Had to wait a while for what appeared to be the only wine and food menus in the place after another table (who arrived after us) had finished with them. Told Tartiflette was not available that evening!! Why???? It's potato, lardons, onions and cheese! What on earth didn't they have? Nice complimentary croutons with a tapenade, and nicely presented amuse bouche of deep fried calamari (although for a restaurant that prides itself on local produce not sure where they caught that locally). I had the confit de canard and my partner had the pork rib. My confit came with a orange sauce that luckily was served separately as it was very sharp and the duck, although crispy, was rather dry. My partner's rib was large and charred on the outside and slightly underdone on the inside so did not come off the bone easily nothing special. Both came with the same accompaniments and the tastiest part of the meal we agreed was the homemade ratatouille. Also off the menu that night was anything with truffles which they seem to specialise in as everything could come with truffles (for a supplement). Decided not to go for a desert but had a coffee which was OK. For the prices they charge and the amazing reviews they have, we were expecting better, and there are better in Montgenevre."

"just a lovely place! we arrived at the cabin with the snowmobile, guided in a fun way by the owner, the legendary luca. climbing from the slopes the hut suddenly appears from nothing, as by magic, takes off the breath and is immediately a great emotion. entering you are greeted by gabriella, the wife of luca, very beautiful and extremely welcoming person, seems to know her forever, makes you feel at home. I mean, it's always a cabin. is beautiful, super maintained, clean but above all warm, but I do not speak of temperature. the service is excellent, you do not feel only for a second, but at the same time, you do not perceive, the false attentions to which we are accustomed, but rather the true hospitality. the menu was fixed, but I guarantee you I would not want anything different. many appetizers, all delicious, themed, niche! then tanning polenta that makes you think of nothing better, excellent! still polenta base with various twisted seasonings, until you take off the desire to eat one of the best polente I have ever eaten. While you look around and you can't eat in such a beautiful place and repeat, magical! then come the sweets, like all the rest done on the spot and naturally by hand, delicious, I would like them here now while I write. all this served in a wonderful table service, suitable for location. Good luca and gabriella, you told us about your great sacrifices, necessary to manage your fantastic cabin, be quiet, see, you managed to transmit them! Congratulations, I look forward to seeing you again! Hurry."

"Sono passato da questo locale di passaggio con il camper per prendere una pizza d' asporto.La cosa che salta subito all'occhio è la CORDIALITÀ del personale, cosa che non è da sottovalutare.Tutti quanti hanno salutato con il sorriso( e non è un periodo di sorrisi questo), ed è una cosa che da cliente apprezzo molto.Non posso valutare il cibo in generale , ma solamente la pizza che ho comprato, che era ottima , e molto leggera .Se mai tornerò a Claviere , tornerò sicuramente."

"L'accueil est très bien, visiblement cet établissement est souvent plein le soir car nous avons dû réserver pour le lendemain faute de place.Les pizzas ne sont pas très grosses, et chères, et bizarrement la mozzarella di buffala qui est le fromage de base de toutes les pizzas ( sur la carte elles sont toutes avec de la mozzarella di buffala), est élastique après la cuisson de la pizza.Est-ce normal ?Je ne crois pas car c'est un fromage qui ne durcit presque pas à la cuisson et qui a même tendance à s'écouler sur la pâte.Lorsqu'on mange la pizza on a l'impression d'avoir une fondue savoyarde indigeste sur la pâte, d'ailleurs ma femme n'a pas pu la manger .Je pense donc que l'inscription mozzarella di buffala est une grossière erreur pour ne pas accuser le restaurant de pire."

"We arrived after and we wanted to have dinner, but the kitchens had stopped at us and finally took a drink, waiting for an order taken to take to another restaurant. the excellent and very very nice welcome and with the smile. We feel very fast. We took cocktails, they were all great! special mention for May thai. the bartender who also cashed me wanted to know how we had found his cocktails and he told me about the May thai that he was doing with love and it's true that he was particularly good this lol do not hesitate to ask for a card game they had a very nice moment"
