Amazing wee intimate eatery food is as amazing as it always has been... Will definitely be returning again -and again

I hadn't been to the restaurant since pre covid, but the standard was the same both in quality of food and service...both excellent. Only about 20 covers and intimate setting. Well worth a visit .... book in advance

What a fantastic evening. Food tremendous, service tremendous. What more can you ask for? Always treated like part of the family. Pino is so passionate about his food which shows in both presentation and taste. Can't recommend highly enough.

I had heard many positive reviews from friends and colleagues and I was very much looking forward to trying this restaurant. Feel disappointed as service wasn't fantastic, food was good, but not amazing. Disappointing and not keen to repeat. I will not be back.

Lovely place which serves really great Italian food. Small and intimate. Not a large menu on show for the evening we were there, I suspect it changes every night I had a fabulous Rib eye steak done to perfection and we'll seasoned. The sides were great also We will be back guaranteed.

I was eager to try out this authentic Italian restaurant after hearing such great reviews. The restaurant is quite small, with only around 15 seats. The atmosphere is nice, but a few in our group felt like they were being judged. The menu is limited and pricey, and surprisingly not very Italian. The portions are small, but the creamy dessert we had helped ease our disappointment. Overall, I don't think I will be coming back.

I went to this restaurant with a friend for the 5-course wine tasting with lunch and it was fantastic! The food was expertly paired with the wines and each course was deliciously prepared. The quality of the wine was excellent and it was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon, trying new wines and enjoying incredible food. The atmosphere was laid-back and the service was top-notch. I have dined here before, but the wine tasting experience was a great outing. With generous servings of wine and dishes like smoked salmon, rib eye steak, crab, and truffle, it was definitely worth the money. I highly recommend it.

You will never be disappointed with the welcome you receive in this gem of a place. The food is to die for and they stock a really good selection of wine. Gino is always happy to share his cooking tips and passion for quality ingredients no matter how busy he is. If I had to point out any negatives, I would say it is a pity that they have limited opening times and the food is expensive. I am not saying it is not worth every penny, because it genuinely is. However if it was a little less expensive I would certainly visit more often. I say again A GEM OF A PLACE! Be sure to take a big fat wallet with you though.

for some years the call of this restaurant was aware, but 25 miles away to live had not the opportunity to visit. at the last weekend, however, we visited together with my cousin and her man who is regular. first, I loved the fact that it was a tiny restaurant, just a handful of tables well spaced apart. it is a very intimate and cozy environment and fits with the food very well. we have all chosen the tasting menu.seven courses. the friendly waitress took our drinks orders, checked all food intolerances and made easy adjustments to the dishes. smoked escape as the first cure followed by spargel in a lemon butter, then scallops (fantastic), next was an excellent tortellini, then turbot. next...
